All I can say is that (LITOM) is our favorite brand of solar lights! Over 4 years ago, we replaced all of our outdoor lighting with the LITOM various types of lights. We have 8 LED spot lights in the front yard, and 10 or 12 various size LED motion lights around our back yard, hanging on the fence perimeter. They are very bright and last all night long. So far after we have only had to replace one lighten over 4 yrs; and that was only because it fell off the fence during a very bad storm, and the motion sensor eye broke, so it was taking in water, but it still works. Not sure for how much longer, but it is hanging in there. I am sure we will be buying more of these when the time comes to replace. Well made and worth every cent, I highly recommend!

These lights are not astoundingly bright, and that's an advantage. Too bright would be blinding coming in from the dark. I put one above a second story stairs & door and it's plenty to find a key by and it covers the ground about 40 feet away well enough not to trip on something. If you have ambient city light, though, it might underwhelm beyond a few yards.Detection range seems to be somewhat variable, from 10 to 20 feet at first story to 20 to 30 feet with the second-story installation.Recommended wherever you need to see where you're going or where your main lighting leaves blind spots. I bought another pair after buying a first pair.The operation mode switch is behind the unit and if mounted flush, it becomes inaccessible. For temporary installation, or if you need access to the switch and cannot mount it to a ledge that lets you have an inch behind it and the wall, I suggest using some copper wire through the two mounting holes to let the unit be hung like a portrait. A hanging recess, like most wall clocks have, would be nice, but there's probably motion sensor circuitry where that recess would need to be.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is the second Litom Solar Light that I have purchased. The other (LITOM Solar Pathway Lights) was quite impressive and I also gave it 5-stars. These lamps give off a pleasant “cool white” light (like sunlight) that is quite strong (on hi-mode the light shines to about 7 meters). There are 2 things that I really like about these lamps: 1) it has a simple “off” mode where neither darkness nor motion turns it on (there are occasions when I do not want them on at all like rainy/snowy days) and 2) the lamps have very good lateral coverage because unlike many other wall mounted lamps, they do not shine straight downwards. Maybe the only suggestion I would have is to include a 3-5m wire that connects the detachable solar panel to the lamp so that it can be located in a shady/dark area but still be powered by the distant panel in full sun (but the cost may go up a bit). The 3 modes, apart from off, are also useful because it gives the user choices that extend the amount of time the light remains on by conserving energy in a low-light mode. These lamps are IP67 waterproof rated. The 6 means it is fully protected against dust, while the 7 means it’s protected against the effects of temporary water immersion between 15cm and 1m for about 30 minutes. So, this is way more protection than you really need against rain! All in all, a very good, well built product—my second such lamp from Litcom!

I bought a set of these (300 led) as well as a set of the Aootek 182 led lights for comparison. I returned the Aooteks and kept these for several reasons:1) These lights stay on for 30s when motion is detected, compared to the 15s timeout of the Aootek lights.2) The motion detection on these lights are much better than the Aootek lights. I didn't measure exact distances, while both claim to work up to 26 ft, I can say with certainty that these 300 LED LITOM lights recognized motion at least 3 feet further than the Aootek lights did.As far as brightness and throw/spread, I didn't notice any marked difference between the two brands.

I purchased these after getting the 200 LED solar lights which unfortunately are unavailable. Unfortunately the light even with 100 more LEDs in my opinion is not as good as the 200 LED version. Had I not drilled holes in the wall I would have returned them. I also dont like how you have to unscrew the lights in order to change the mode unlike the previous version.If the manufacturer is reading this, please go back to the other design which provides a better distributed light as opposed to being blinded in 1 direction with no side LEDs

I have bought over 60 Solar Motion lights in the past few years, from many different manufacturers. Seem to go back to LITOM each time. I realize that with tech advances the lights have gotten brighter & last longer, while pricesstayed the same.I can look at a LITOM solar light that I bought over 5 years ago & see the improvements made since then. I can also look at other makers where they were not as bright, bought during the same time period. Or my biggest complaint. The Sensors DON'T work. You have to wave your arms within 6 feet of them, before they turn on.

Good looking solar powered LED lights. It’s not as bright as other models I have purchased through Amazon of similar size. This is the trade off for having a deflecting cover so the LED element does not shine directly at your eyes. Still, even with this expectation, the brightness is a bit too dim for the application. I have competing lights mounted at the same height on outer edge of the house and they are much brighter in comparison. Keep this in mind as you decide required brightness on the area you intent to keep lit.

The photo of the light gives the impression that the light panel is not a flat panel but instead that one half of the panel is angled slightly to the left and the other half of the panel is angled slightly to the right. That is not the case. It is a single flat panel. All lights are pointing straight forward. What this means is that there is going to be a smaller area that can be lighted. The clear plastic front is also split and angled left and right for no reason that I can see other than to give the impression that the lights are at an angle and the area lit will be greater. I don't know if I will keep these.
