these sketchpads are just as described. the paper is a creamy white and maybe a little on the thin side. it's not for dark markers or watercolor paints, but it seems like it would be perfect for sketching. they're well made and a good value for the pair.

LOVE this. use it as a junk sketchbook where i just do doodles in class, rather than for planning or creating finished pieces. Paper is off-white cream, and feels like less than 80 gsm but definitely can handle fountain pen ink, a pentel hi tec c, and even the pentel pocket brush pen with minimal to no feathering and no bleeding. easy to bend and mash up in a backpack but thats ok!

I asked my sister to send me things she wants to get others as Christmas presents. I assumed she looked into this and didn’t just pick the prettiest looking sketch book for our brother, but she did. They’re quite small and thin and the paper doesn’t look as good as his other sketchbooks, but i think they make good Christmas presents after being decorated. Idk how my brother will like them since there aren’t many pages & they’re pretty tiny but they do look cute & the price wasn’t bad

Paper is very thin. As you can see from the photo, you can see through not only the paper to the front from the back, but even the writing on the page under that. And this is with a ball point pen. Even taking notes of both sides of the page is iffy. Don’t try to draw on both sides, it will bleed through.

The paper is very thin and definitely doesn't stand through ink. The book is thinner than I thought and I will probably only end up using half the pages because of the ink bleed. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only smaller, spiral notebook with blank pages i could find :(.
