Master Lock 34 2" Coupler Lock - 34AT

Great lock. I have a few of the original gold ones but they require an alanwreanch and if not tight enough can be backed out and removed. The new stile here is a pin that pops up with the key. Out of all the locks on the market I put my money on these. Others have a bar that can be cut. These will require much more time to get off with out the key. Any lock is not fool proof but these will not be as easy to remove. Got new and old ones of these locks on all my trailers and will not use anything else.

Lock seems like it will work well, only time will tell if my travel trailer stays put when I'm not towing it. If someone wants to take your stuff bad enough they will find a way but something like this will at least not make it as easy as just hooking up and driving away.I just wanted to note that the lock doesn't look exactly as pictured. It is black with grey speckle. I'm still happy with the coupler lock though.Fits secure without moving around very much on my 2" coupler.Some other reviews were talking about a special allen wrench and that makes it more secure, mine just goes on and off with the key.

Had to send the first one back because the key didn’t work the locking mechanism. Received another one and the locking mechanism works but the pin that locks into the tongue should screw in instead of the key lock. Might be a bit tighter. But overall it works.

Ok product but I had to modify th fit my trailer.

The lock in the photo was the one I wanted and thought I was getting since I have two others (models 33 and 35) like it. What I got was the "modern" version with the rolling pin lock rather than the screw pin type. The rolling pin type lock I also had in the past and tends to become stiff with infrequent use, running the risk of locking up. The correct photo and info should have been displayed in the first place.

Although the product seems worth keeping, it is not what I expected, and there was a previous warning through another review stating this, but I ordered anyway. What is shown, in the copper color, is an older style, that I don't believe is available anymore. That one had an allen wrench that tightened up a bolt from the bottom. The new one, the bolt is turned up by the key, so there is not tightening to be done. Is it as effective as the original...I don't think so. Will it still work reasonably well, to divert thieves attention, I think so. I'm keeping it.
