Bobkona St. Croix Collection Vanity Set with Stool, Walnut

OMG!!!!! I absolutely love my new makeup vanity! I ordered the one in walnut and it is sooooo freaking cute and very strong and sterdy!!! It is made of real wood and it is sooo much better and easier for me to do my hair and makeup at the vanity rather than in the bathroom because I can sit down and I have great lighting. I am a single mom with no help from any men at all and I put this togther all by myself! I am not good and putting things togther, especially with screws and stuff lol I am not a handy man at all but this was super quick and easy! I had trouble figuring out the mirror but I got it situated lol (I used gorilla wood glue) I didn't know or understand how to put the legs on the mirror to attach it to the vanity and it works like a charm. I know this is not a gorilla wood glue review but everyone should go out and buy some of thay stuff! It is amazing! But so is this vanity! Great price! Great product! I'm in love with it and it is one of the best purchases that I have ever made!!!!!

Arrived safely, double packaged. I was able to carry it (in pieces) to the 2nd story myself and assembled all but attaching the mirror on the vanity (husband was coming home in matter of minutes so I gave him that honor). Easy to assemble. Most difficult step was to get legs even on the stool. Stool seems pretty sturdy. I definitely would not slide it back while sitting on it as I am sure that would strain the leg attachments (regardless of your size I would not recommend sliding it while you sit on it). I am a moderately plus size girl and it is able to hold me without any creaking or wobbling and seat is comfortable; height of stool to vanity is just right. The drawers are shallow and do not slide out all the way but it is a minor inconvenience. I will be putting makeup and orrhaps jewelry or fashion items in them not anything bulky so they are fine! They slide nicely on the track. The vanity looks beautiful and I am very pleasantly surprised how nice it looks.

This vanity was shipped quickly by amazon and was packaged very well. The vanity was packaged in a box by the manufacturer and this box was packaged in a second box essentially encasing the vanity in twolayers of styrofoam. There was no damage noted. I was surprised at first as I thought amazon sent the wrong color. I ordered walnut and the vanity I received is definitely a reddish color which I would consider cherry. I've noticed many reviewers claimed their cherry stain was almost black, which is definitely not the case with my unit, so I assume their "walnut" color is slightly red. It was easy to assemble, though I received no instructions. The only odd part is the mirror which has no pilot holes drilled into the back of the frame, but it was simple to drill my own. I am pleased with this piece. It certainly doesn't look like an expensive piece of furniture, but it doesn't look cheap either, so it is a decent compromise if you are looking for a nice vanity that is a good price. I would buy again.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. We bought it for our daughter for Christmas and it came packed in foam BIG TIME. The only issue we had with shipping was that it took a long time. It was supposed to be here between a certain range and it arrived a week after the later date. Of course keep in mind it is December and everyone is shipping things at that time. It did arrive before Christmas. One of the 4 stool legs didn't fit right because the glue/screws to the stool top weren't installed correctly. My husband was able to fix it by taking that part apart and regluing it. It scratches really easy though so I believe we will be getting a glass top to protect the top. We made the mistake of setting the unattached mirror on top of the table to prepare it for mounting and the hing scratched the top. Drawer slides are nice and sturdy. Just put the legs on table and chair and the mirror on and it is ready for use.

I bought this just before Christmas, and was putting off putting it together. I figured like most most things it would have a thousand parts to put together. I gave my wife a picture of the vanity for Christmas. She loved,was excited for me to put it together. So the next day I got it out to start putting it together and to my surprise it was preassembled. I lifted out the body, turned it over, screwed in the legs, turned it back over put the mirror on, put the legs on the stool and done. Less than 1/2 an hour. So for those who are looking for a very nice peice of furniture without all the headache of putting together a thousand peices, this is the vanity to buy. Very nice peice of furniture. Built very well, no pressboard, real wood construction. It looks like something my wife will hand down to her neice.

I purchased this vanity as a gift for my wife. Vanity sets like this are very difficult to find. While attaching the vanity legs, three of the four went in fairly easily. The fourth was drilled improperly and started to break the vanity top apart. Fortunately, I noticed the separation before I damaged it beyond repair. Our home is in a remote area, so returning it would be a major pain. I re-drilled the hole for the leg screw, put wood glue on the separated pieces, then was able to attach the leg. The vanity is still a little wobbly, not a solid, stable piece of furniture. The drawers don't fit squarely in the openings and are a little difficult to open and close. The round bench is nice looking, but it, too, is poorly made, wobbly and the seat is off-center from the base. I'm willing to bet it'll fall apart and need to be replaced soon. A regular chair will work just as well. All in all, the vanity is attractive, matches our current bedroom set, and is functional. The price should be the clue that this is not a high end piece of furniture. But, it's fine for now and the limited use it will get.

I got this for my girlfriend for xmas. It arrived well ahead of time and in good condition. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality, but once she opened it and I put it together there was no question. It's an excellent piece of furniture. It's solid wood and feels solid too. The assembly instructions are poor but a child can put it together. She loves it and it looks great in our room.

My vanity arrived with a crushed lower right bottom back corner and a possibly 'repaired' chipped upper right back corner. The 'crushed' corner was so strange. It almost appeared slightly damp, yet the package didn't. I was delivered right to the door when we were home. That corner looked like layers of floppy cardboard all separated!! This whole thing is some kind of composite with a wood looking coating! At first glance, it really looked nice. It would be impossible for us to ever get this beast back in the box with all the complicated packing of foam and cardboard shapes. I took a needle and put wood glue between all those separations and clamped it. I will have to rebuild that corner and it will take a long time, as for the top corner crack, that almost looks like a factory quick glue job! That one shows on the back side and bottom of Vanity top. I really believe the seller should refund my shipping to offset my repair work, since if I could ship it back, he would have to pay for that, plus shipping of the replacement. Actually then two shipping costs. I spent $88.00 in S & H to get it here. We are elderly, on oxygen and in no condition to lift this beast back into the box, while dealing with all the packing material. It did seem well packed, some minor looking box damage that didn't seem to go through the foam. I really just think someone at the original factory had a `woops' with this piece, and packed it up anyway!! Not happy with this, in spite of it's obvious attractiveness. In this case, beauty is only skin deep!! 1 day later, The other back bottom corner was covered in SO many little particles that I never brushed them off and checked that, I was so busy dealing with the other side. BOTH back bottom corners are crushed!! This just gets better and better. And that side will show in my room if not perfectly repaired (not really possible!)
