CHURCH 585EC 062 Toilet Seat with Easy Clean & Change Hinge, ELONGATED, Durable Enameled Wood, Ice Grey

A perfect match for my 1980's American Standard toilet. I shopped all the big box stores looking for a seat to match my old American Standard toilet and was unsuccessful at finding anything even close. Then I went to a interior design specialty shop and took the bold cover from the bottom of the toilet. The guy looked up a color chart for Kohler toilets. He said that Kohler sets the standards for colors and other manufactures copied them. He said he could sell me one for about $80 but suggested I go online and find an ice gray one for a lot cheaper. Needless to say, I did and ran across this one for substantially less. I received it the other day and I'm happy to report it matches my American Standard toilet perfectly. The seat is a quality built wood seat (much better than plastic) that easily attaches and detaches from the top of the bolts by turning a piece of plastic to lock and unlock it. This makes if very easy to remove and clean under. I didn't even have to replace the bolts from my previous (non color matching) seat as it attached the same way. Took less than a minute to replace. If your looking to match to a lighter color gray this is likely the seat/color for you. They only made the lighter and darker gray shades back then, according to the employee at the home interior store I went to. Very happy with the product!

I put this toilet seat on the Elongated Bowl of an older American Standard Toilet of a Light Gray color, and this 'Ice Gray' shade matched Perfectly! Absolutely no complaints about the quality of this seat. Although it took me a little while to understand the Instructions for installing this toilet seat. It is not intuitive or quick to install with the little twisty-knob brackets for: Engaged & Un-Engaged. I still don't understand that 'feature', but I did get it successfully installed. Simple is better, and this is not THE simplest I have run across.

Nice toilet seat, much heavier than I anticipated so hoping it will last a long time. The sleek design and color is a nice addition to my modern bath decor. Paint seems to be well adhered. Comfortable and sturdy.

I had cleaned my carpet and was pouring the dirty water down the toilet. Some of the dirty water got on the bowl and on the toilet seat. So I decided to clean up the stains with the bathroom cleaner with bleach. Big mistake! Now I have discolored spots on my seat. Grrr!

This is a high quality product, looks great as well. Only problem I had was the click lock installation.. it was a pain to put it in even though the design is intended to install with just a turn.. I am not sure not long that click lock last, I wish it could have standard screws instead..

We prefer wood, but the paint just doesn't last like it used to. At about 2 years, the seat is showing dings and cleaning wear (mostly underneath from urine) to the point I'd prefer new. 2 adults and 1 teen.

The toilet seat won’t stay in place but it could be the seat was not tightened

I was so delighted to find this replacement in the perfect matching color for this price. Lowe's and Home Depot wanted between $60-$90.00 for this oblong shaped seat in the matching color. However, after cleaning it the first time I notice the pain comes off on the sponge. I use Scrubbing Bubbles or a Natural cleaner like Method brand usually. It was all shiny at first then it became dull and started to streak when you clean it or if water droplets get on it. After a few months of regular cleaning the paint looks pretty bad and you can see white coming through in some spots. It seems sturdy besides the paint issue. I will need to buy the more expensive one because it looks bad and if the paint is coming off that easily I know its getting on our bottoms when we sit and in turn in our bodies through our pores.
