Like some of the other people who have reviewed this piece, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing! This will not connect to standard SMA compatible equipment because this is RP-SMA, or Reverse Polarity SMA. A quick internet search revealed the folly of my actions. Here’s what a google search has to say: “RP-SMA stands for Reverse Polarity SMA. It is a variation of the SMA connector which reverses the gender of the interface.” Oops! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm guessing that the aluminum cladding on our eaves blocked the signal. So, I removed the antenna from the back of that camera, attached this extension cable instead, fed the cable into the garage and re-attached the antenna. Instantly, the camera then worked. Customer image shows the camera with THIS cable attached, running into the garage. This cable did what it's supposed to do!

Bought these to extend some antenna cables. Unfortunately, the connectors on the ends of these cables were wrong for my setup, so I need to buy the correct adapters to get everything together and working.Just take a good look at the ends of any cables you buy to be sure they'll work for your setup is my suggestion.

I got these to hide my router in the cabinet while exposing the antennas for better wifi performance. There is zero difference in network performance, and my wife is happy that the big ugly router isn't in plain sight. Highly recommended for the technical performance and the contribution to a happy wife!

Works well, good length, got a stable -5 RSSI improvement using the extra length to improve the signal of my WiFi PCI card (ASUS AC88). Very pleased. A little thinner of a cable than I would like, but I do think it is probably normal for this type of cable.

Got a PCIe or motherboard WiFi antennae and the wires are to short to put the antennae where you want. These will give you the reach you need. They work.

The biggest issue is what kind of connection you have. I used this to extend a WIFI card antenna to move the antenna from the back of the system to the top of the system. This area is more accessible. Gives me better reception.

Amazon shipped the wrong item, yet handled the return expeditiously. Also, note that the cable pictured has reverse polarity (RP) connectors. Be sure these are compatible with your system.

This is a totally useless piece. On the right is a SMA adapter, notice it has a male pin on the barrel nut side. This cable has been assembled backwards. The female recepticle is on the male end. There is no equipment anywhere that uses this type of configuration.

I used the first extension for a week and the insulation, at the connector, cracked and then the wire came out of the connector. The second extension, I attached to my radio and antenna and was conscious of the extension so I did not pull or twist it. It lasted a month. The wire is too thin and the crimping of the connectors was poor.
