Everything you need to know about this remote in a nut shell.
Everything you need to know about this remote in a nut shell. I'll start out by saying that I have owned other remotes that look IDENTICAL to this one... BUT... there is a difference. This one has a blue microphone button towards the bottom right. The remotes that I've found that do not work have a picture of a house there. So here is the deal:1. The manual aka. (The flying squirrel) absolutely sucks. The flying squirrel is how the Chinese translated "Air Mouse"2. It has very minimal to zero interference. I've used Logitech RF keyboards and they have had massive interference issues where this device did not in the same room. You can go far enough and control your device with this remote. Not sure how many feet but never needed to go any further than a large size family room.3. ---> This is the biggest point <--- The air mouse cursor goes OFF when you hit the button and stays off. Why is this so important? Because the other mouse that looks identical to this one but has the house button, will auto turn on. It is a nightmare and unusable.4. This works awesome if your using Kodi because the remotes for most Kodi boxes are worthless. This keyboard also has the keyboard on the back. It works fine 90% of the time and good enough for government work.5. I have not yet programmed the programmable buttons yet so I cannot give feedback but I've read others have and it worked fine.6. The buttons feel great to push and have a slight click sound but not loud enough to bug you.7. The keyboard portion works great but they did something really stupid and printed the upper alt row in a almost midnight blue which you cannot see for crap.8. I have not yet been able to turn on the android box with the power button. Once the old remote is used to turn the box on, I can turn the box off with this remote. I believe the Android box is not giving the USB dongle any power hence you cannot turn the box on.I would recommend you trying this particular one even if another model that looks identical is cheaper. You will ONLY KNOW about the cursor problem if you have bought both types. This is the one you want.

Works on Nvidia Shield. Almost. Works on any TV. YES.
This is a good replacement for the Nvidia Shield remote, but the keyboard escape key (or the backspace key while in Kodi) must be used in lieu of the actual back button on the front side of the remote. It has been mapped to do a right-click. But all the pluses of this controller greatly outweigh this one big minus.Update: The DELete key on the front of the remote also works as a back button while in Kodi. Also, despite what has been posted on numerous sites, ALL KEYS are programmable to any key on your TV remote control (or any other infrared remote). Of the 43 total keys on the front side of the MXIII, I have programmed all of them except for the TV and VOICE key, for use with my Samsung smart tv. This remote now duplicates every function of my OEM Samsung remote. Keep in mind though, every single key has to be individually programmed (number keys and all), and it is an extremely time-consuming, tedious process. But the end result is a far better remote controller than just a typical "universal" remote.

I've bought four air remotes over the last few years, this is the best one.
I built a gaming / home theater PC for my living room three years ago, and since then I've been trying to find a good remote for it. Not including iPhone/iPad apps and game controllers, I've tried three other "air mouse" remotes beside this one:TaoTronics TT-MK001 Mini 2.4G Wireless Flying Mouse Keyboard for Google Android TVhttp://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AIHYHJA- This is too bulky and uncomfortable, and there's not enough buttons.iRainy Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard Handheld With Touch Pad Ultra Sensitive Multi-touch Support iMac, Android, Windowshttp://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KT09QPG- Pretty much a completely different product now, so no words on this.iPazzPort 2.4GHz Mini Wireless Fly Keyboard with IR Remote and Backlight KP-810-16http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B006OW1J1M- The best of the three function-wise, but very flimsy and cheaply made. I've had to glue the mouse-control button back on a few times, the page up/page down buttons barely work anymore, and the keyboard often misses or repeats characters, making it frustrating to use. They're all decent but they all have deal-breaker issues. This remote, on the other hand, is almost perfect.Pros:+ It feels solid and durable+ Comfortable to hold+ The mouse isn't perfect but it's the best I've used+ The keyboard is pretty decent+ It's got plenty of functional buttons in ergonomic spotsCons:- There is no right-click; only a context menu button that just works in certain windows. I got around this by making a simple AutoHotkey script (just put AppsKey::RButton in an ahk file) which remaps that button to a proper right-click.- There is no Ctrl, Tab Shift or Windows key on the keyboard. They should add another column of keys on the left for these.- There should be an indicator light showing when you have caps lock or alt enabled.- The bottom (keyboard side) could be a bit more squared off or have feet or something so that it's easier to use the remote when it's sitting flat on a table.- Would be nice if it were rechargeable instead of AAA.These are minor issues though. Overall this is a great product and the best HTPC remote I've used.Edit: Reduced to three stars. The keyboard is annoying to use due to there being no indication of when you have caps/alt enabled (makes logging into Windows a hassle), and the mouse often goes outta whack when you turn the remote over, requiring you to wave it around like a jackass to get it calibrated again.

Best KODI remote EVER!
If you looking for one device to control your tv and Kodi box, this is the remote for you. Easy to set up and tons of features. My favorite is the 3D mouse, simply point the remote at any direction and the mouse cursor follows.Pros:-full keyboard-IR remote with smart learning mode, which allows to program this remote for any TV-build in microphoneNeg:-first set up is a bit lengthy-keyboard buttons hard to press

An Air Mouse that works
This Air Mouse is designed to fit in the hand with a gloss finish on top and a matte finish on the back keyboard side. It is very easy to navigate over the TV screen. Connecting it, I didn't have to be a Tech to make it work. I can travel from TV to other devices and works every time. I like it, and recommend the Mouse.
