Brioschi Effervescent - Antacid (Pack of 3)

Brioschi Seltzer was an old standby found in every grocery and drug store where Italian immigrants lived. It's been the go to antacid for years, but unfortunately the American licensee stopped producing it. The benefit of Brioschi is that it contains only the bicarbonate of soda and has a pleasant lemon flavor. What makes it far superior to other antacids is that it has no aspirin or other ingredients in it. A lot of people with indigestion, agita or sour stomach do not do themselves any favor by using antacid that has aspirin. Most pharmacies and grocery stores provide only the option of Alka-Seltzer or something similar. This is a lot easier on the stomach and the gastric system overall.This product is the original recipe, except it is imported from Italy. The writing is in Italian but a couple of teaspoons in a glass is enough to make you forget that pepperoni pizza in a flash. Highly recommended.

this is the best brioschi since the original. the only problem is the directions are in Italian, but if you grew up with grandparents and family using this product it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out the dosage. I think it's one capful on the blue bottles. and the price is unbelievable compared to those offered in the states. I recently purchased one from a company and it was brown, i threw it out and of course amazon refunded my money. this is a great find. love it!!!!

Brioschi is my favorite antacid to take. It really works. I have used it for over 40 years and when I found out that it is now hard to buy, I was not happy. I initially was glad I found it at Amazon, but the price wasn't cheap and it is not as good as the original Brioschi. This one has a very strong Lemon flavor, so much so that it is hard to drink. When you buy it, look for the "original flavor Brioschi" stay away from the lemon flavored one.

Not that great. The stuff dissolves but doesn't effervesce. I bought a 3 pack based on a bunch of good reviews. I haven't opened the other 2 bottles yet. Without a doubt a very poor product. Maybe I got a hold of some old bottles. To me it looks like the company wrote the reviews themselves.

Good to have this product back. I think the long-distance ride it took made the lower 25% of the jars into dust vs. puffs, but I'll take it.

This is the real deal. When our beloved Brioschi went out of business I was stupefied, I don't get heartburn often, but when I do, nothing works like this stuff. The prices on line for the old stock were set at scalper prices. So I took a chance on this vendor and it really is the same stuff you learned to love.

not as fizzy as previous purchased product, maybe toward end of shelf life

Love this product and does the trick for indigestion and nausea. Product arrived on time and was fresh. Glass bottle imported from Italy, it was fresh and I KNOW its not candy, but still yummy without the now gone US version of plastic taste.
