Blitz Poly Cotton Student Karate Suit

My kids attend a Ju Jitsu dojo near the house, and we are friendly with the Sensei. He recommended Blitz because of the quality of their stuff. He showed us some 'other brand' Gis and they all looked frayed. On closer inspection, the cloth was thinner, and they were single-stitched. When he showed us the Blitz Gi, it was a much thicker material and had been double-stitched along each seam, which made them a lot more durable.This is the third Blitz outfit I've bought, and each one has lasted a year, and looks almost as good a year later as it did when I bought it. I always wash my Gis separately from coloured clothes, they soak up colours really easily. My wife wasn't concentrating a few months ago and put the gis in with a red bedsheet, and they came out pink. It took a whole night of bleaching and rinsing to get them back to white again. But they survived the harsh bleaching well, and are still really good looking. Blitz is a great brand for martial arts stuff. Definitely recommended!130cm will fit a 6/7/8 year old.140cm will fit a 8/9/10 year old, and maybe 11 or 12 if they're short.The fit is great, and the kids look ace in them, and can concentrate on their skills, and not their Gi's tearing or looking shabby!

Bought a few different karate gis and the sizing was always wrong. Finally found this, a perfect size for my average size 13 year old. Also bought it used and it turned out being perfect condition. Price was very cheap too.

Really great gi for the money. The fabric is thick and sturdy and the fit is good. Really pleased and would definitely order again!

Good quality, unfortunately had to return because the size was too big but the return was easy and hassle free and will repurchase in the correct size.

Belt is about 2 sizes too small. Had to order one separately.Gi also came scuffed/marked up a bit.Cold washed in machine fine, as per tags.Eventually got rid of some of the leftover spot stains on it with some mould remover that said "do not use near fabric"Other than that, seems ok for the price so far

This outfit was a last-minute attempt to find something that I could use as part of a Star Wars costume idea, and in that role it works perfectly :). The material is sturdy, and with the trade badges removed serves very well as a Sith tunic. In fact the whole outfit is that comfortable that I can see myself wearing it more often around the house :D. The sizing was also spot-on, and the 170cm version fits me perfectly, even though I am rather... erm... well built.There was one minor mistake in shipping, in that I was originally sent a white coat instead of a black one, but that error was corrected very quickly.

Had to adjust for height but fit well - only really wanted the trousers as needed the bigger waist but didn’t need a bigger top but the price was still very good. Is very hard to find martial arts suits that fit - have to mix and match but these 8/210 trousers are great and am now much more comfy at classes, I will be back for more if they are ever restocked 😁
