This yarn is so soft and perfect for a baby blanket. If you are a beginner you may want to start with a more traditional yarn. Since it is so thick it is very difficult to see the stitches and whether you have done them correctly or not.I bought 2, 3-packs (6 skeins total). The quality of the first 2 skeins was 5/5 stars. The third however, (so far) has had two knots where it is not one long piece of thread. I am making a baby blanket as a present so this is very frustrating for the quality of the gift I am making.I am hoping this is just a bad role and that whoever put it together made a poor judgement in quality of the material. I will update if the next 3 skeins have similar problems.I have friends that swear by this material and love love it.

I have been using Bernat blanket yarn for seven years and I love the product. Unfortunately purchasing this bulk-buy yarn was a bit disappointing because there was a defect in a portion of each skein. This is a 6 gauge yarn, yet part of each skein was much smaller (approx. 3g.) This left me short nearly 3 skeins. This has NEVER happened before! My only option through Amazon was to return the yarn for a refund or replacement. This isn’t feasible since I have already needed an entire blanket. My hope is that the seller will rectify this issue with me. If they do, the seller and the product will get 5 stars.
