EU edition of includes two bonus tracks: 'Don't Forget' and 'La La Land'. 2009 sophomore album from the teen Pop sensation and star of Disney's Camp Rock and Sonny with a Chance. Demi's debut album, Don't Forget, sold half a million copies and she performed for over one million people as special guest on the Jonas Brothers' 2009 sold out Burning Up tour. 16 tracks. Polydor. Review: 2nd Record Is A Unique Balance Of Tween Pop Sensitivity & Adult Contemporary Maturity - Believe it or not, I'm a 39-year-old male who has come to like 17-year-old actress/singer Demi Lovato. I say again! I'm a guy on the doorstep of 40 and I actually like both of her records! Her 2007 debut, "Don't Forget", was a very enjoyable pop/rock record that showed a sense of Adult Contemporary maturity that is lacking in the sound quality of her Disney Channel counterparts such as Miley Cyrus (although I do enjoy some of her songs), her real-life BFF Selena Gomez, and Ashley Tisdale. Let it also be known that in terms of vocal talent, Lovato appears to be the best among the four. On her second effort, 2009's "Here We Go Again", she continues to expand on her ever-growing maturity in terms of sound and production. The songwriting is simple but effective, which gives it that unique balance of being a record that your young daughter would sing along to, but you'll find yourself dancing along with. With remarkably catchy songs that highlight her apparent four-octave range (?), both of her albums appear to be a hybrid of Tween Pop sensitivity & Adult Contemporary maturity. Clocking in at just over 46 minutes over 14 tracks, the album's opener, the title track, is a rockin' cut that could've done without the final cymbal crash at the very end. "Solo", "U Got Nothin' On Me", "Everything You're Not", & "World Of Chances" are solid, thoroughly enjoyable tracks that are just comfortable to hear. "Catch Me" & "Gift Of A Friend" are outstanding slow ballads, but "Everytime You Lie" is the standout song here, a wonderful slice of R&B/Jazz-tinged pop that could be easily used in a party/club scene in a TV series like "Melrose Place", "90210", or the now-departed "The O.C.". As the primary star of [the Disney Channel Original Series] "Sonny With A Chance", it's only fitting the album closes with the show's theme song "So Far So Great". The sing-songy arrangement is a bit daunting, but this girl gives it a spirited "YEOOWWWW" at the end and redeems it nicely. But Lovato deserves a lot of credit for being able to hold this record together with a vocal range that seems to be beyond her 17 years of age (as of this writing). Yeah, she's no Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey or even Beyonce' and she's not trying to be. Truth be told? She's not SUPPOSED to be .... and she SHOULDN'T be!!! Take into account that both "Don't Forget" & "Here We Go Again" were released by a major label (Hollywood Records) NOT affliated with Disney. That speaks volumes about the impression they had about Lovato's talent and the sound she managed to create a mere two records in. Solid and consistent, "Here We Go Again" is just an infectious, catchy, and just plain comfortable record. Her vocal talent & sound will mature with age and that should be expected. When that does happen, it's possible she'll give the aforementioned ladies a run for their money. Key Tracks: "Everytime You Lie", "Here We Go Again", "Gift Of A Friend", "Falling Over Me", "Catch Me". Honorable Mention: "So Far So Great" (only for Demi's "YEOOWWWW!" at the end). Review: A gift to mainstream music - I am a 40-year-old music lover who doesn't have any patience for most pop music, of any era. I like all kinds of genres from blues to classical, but my real favorite is progressive rock. I am a card-carrying fan of The Mars Volta and Yes. So why am I reviewing a Demi Lovato album that my daughter owns? Because it is simply wonderful, taken as a pop album. It has flavorings of all the musical genres I mentioned above and more. Most pop singers are either mediocre or are very good singers in the American Idol sort of mold. Demi Lovato is something quite out of the ordinary. Her voice is the most exciting and fascinating I have heard in decades, possibly since I first heard Jon Anderson many moons ago. She can present herself in so many styles it is amazing. Her chesty high alto and even soprano notes give me a chill every time with their golden thin tone, uncommon steadiness and raw power. There's not much head voice around here unless she's going for soft notes, and "autotune" is used sparingly for certain electronic effects only.

A gift to mainstream music

Good Pressing
It is a good album. However, it skips on the third song. However, the pressing is just breath taking! Love the color combinations.

This album's a definite grower.
The first couple of times I listened to this album I instantly liked some of the tracks. But I didn't love them all. Now that I have edited this review on "8/13/13" I realize (after listening today) that this album on a whole is kind of a grower. My initial impression was that it was overall good but had some filler. I was utterly and completely comparing it to her debut Don't Forget [Deluxe Edition ] which I admit I'm HEAD OVER HEELS WITH. Basically, there isn't much filler at all now. The standout tracks are "Falling Over Me", "Catch Me", the infectious "Every Time You Lie" (which is one of the best tracks here), the dance-y pop rock "Remember December" (wasn't crazy about this when it was a single but I've since grown to like it a lot), I also like "Solo", "Here We Go Again" (another of my favorites), "U Got Nothin' On Me" and well...basically everything other than "Everything You're Not" (it's OK but there's something I don't like about it) and "Gift Of A Friend" which is the worst song on the album. The latter track should have been cut from the album completely...yes, it's that bad! I really like Demi. She's pretty and has a great voice. Vocally she is literally untouched by her Disney brethren. She's been through a lot in her personal life also and in that way I find her more relatable than your average celebrity. But she was best with the catchy pop rock numbers. There are definitely a bunch here (mostly in the beginning of the record) but she has a few songs that took chances genre-wise too. All in all it really did work and I think this is her second strongest record to date. I changed this review a LOT since its conception. 4.5 stars.

Best and most credible "Disney" artist & album EVER!
Like the title said, this is easily the best and most credible album a Disney artist has ever put out. Demi is a real talent and definitely deserves much much more credibility than any current artist her age (she is only 16!) in my opinion. I could give a song by song review but I won't and instead cut to the chase here. The songs here have variety, substance, melody, and excellent vocals. Songs that I think deserve special mention are 'Got Dynamite', 'Catch Me', 'Everytime You Lie', 'U Got Nothin' On Me', and 'Falling Over Me.' Believe me when I say that this is a "Disney" album like no other, a DEFINITE BUY FOR ANY MUSIC FAN!

Truly The Best Album Of All Time
I remember the only artist i ever liked was Miley Cyrus i hated Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato and all the other Disney artist but now, i still love Miley, but i like a lot more of the Disney artist like The Jonas Brothers, Emily Osment and Selena and Demi but mostly Demi she has such an amazing voice and brilliant songs and this album is one of my favorites and so are her other two albums. This is a must buy for kids, teens and even adults will enjoy it. This album kind of reminds me of Avril Lavigne's Under My Skin. Here We Go Again 10/10 - A brilliant opening for the album Solo 10/10 U Got Nothing On Me 10/10 Falling Over Me 10/10 Quiet 10/10 Catch Me 10/10 - This is the song Demi wrote solely on her own without any co-writers Everytime You Lie 11/10 - This is an absolutely brilliant song Got Dynamite 11/10 - I think this is a fan favorite and one of my favorites Stop The World 10/10 World Of Chances 10/10 Remember December 10/10 Everything Your Not 10/10 Gift Of A Friend 10/10 So Far, So Great 0/10 - I HATE this song so much it is always the one that i have to skip, shouldn't have been put on the album Don't Forget 10/10 - A bonus track from Demi's last album Don't Forget La La Land 10/10 - Another bonus track Standouts/Favorites... Here We Go Again Solo Quiet Catch Me Everytime You Lie Got Dynamite Remember December Gift Of A Friend

Perfeição! 😍
Esse álbum é uma obra-prima sem precedentes! Demi Lovato sabia exatamente o que queria fazer e conseguiu! O Here We Go Again conta com faixas pop e pop rock de extrema qualidade e sonoridade madura para uma menina de apenas 16 na época.
