Very encouraging! Love it!
This book is very encouraging!!! As a mom of 2 little ones I often wake up grumpy from being up throughout the night. This book helps new turn my eyes from my complaints to what I should be focusing on in the day, the Lord! I've learned a lot from this book!

BEST devotional for mothers!
I am so encoraged by this devotional!!! I have read both volumes and I am challenged, inspired, encouraged and motivated by Gods word and Nancy Campbell's godly wisdom. She's bold and her perspective and understanding of the word of God is refreshing! Like a glass of water in a desert. She has helped bring a godly vision into my morherhood voyage. I have begun purchasing this devotional for all my friends when they are having a new baby.

Not for working women
I really enjoyed this book until about halfway through. I don't feel this is for women who work outside the home. The author never said working women are less likely to make Godly homes and raise God fearing children, but I definitely felt that tone in her writing. Besides that, some of her devotions are really beautiful.

Positive confession nonsense throughout this book...
I was really excited to start his devotional, as I subscribe to the Above Rubies magazine and have always found it encouraging. However, I was really bummed when I discovered there is a lot of "positive confession" garbage in here (basically, "say it out loud and it will be true"). It ruined it for me and I will not be finishing it or recommending it to anyone. The Bible never tells us to say something out loud and it will become true for us... (example... if you say, "I am dangerous to the enemy", you will be dangerous?). It is great to remind ourselves of God's Word constantly and even a great idea to post Scripture around the house to help us do that, but these confessions (or "affirmations", as she calls them) are not found in the Bible and this practice of saying these phrases out loud to make them true is not Biblical. Wish I could return this one!

Favorite Devotional
As a wife, mother, and busy homeschooler, this is my favorite devotional book. It helps me to not feel overwhelmed or sorry for myself.

Truly a book of Blessing
I’m only through to Day 12 so far, but this devotional is so wonderful! It is full of meat, convicting, encouraging and most importantly it brings about a constant turning from self to Christ. It has been a great help to me as a homeschooling mother.
