Wonderful small book on plants. Lots of quality photos and lists (with pix) 40 aquarium plants. As an experienced aquarist, I found this book a delight to look at, read and yes, learn. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their tanks aquaculture. For just a couple of bucks you cannot go wrong.

Has some good info about what plants work well in your setting.

This is a lowcost souce of information to allmost everyone interested in having plants in a somewhat natural looking aquarium.

short and sweet book about plants, not really a super detailed book but its a good start.

Small compact,easy to use yet filled with lots of information and full colored pictures which simplifies one choosing plants based on requirements. Great price, great for young hobbyist.

From first glances, this book looks an amazing purchase for the money. It goes into the basics of keeping plants as well as telling about the other areas you need to look out for such as hardness. The book goes through plant placement and give a decent account of numerous plant species which will tie over the majority of fish keepers!A very good reference book and read! This book should definitely be in your collection

All tho is a bit dated, the information in the book is on point!. I use it practically all the time where other books are still collecting dust on shelf. If you want to start a planted aquarium it is a must have, especially for the price!

Book was in excellent condition. Lots of plants not in the book but gives you some good advice on care and propagation.

Not what I expected from Barron's books! Not much that you wouldn't find in most aquarium book's. Very limited selection of plants in the species section. For beginners, great! Not really for experienced growers/keepers.

A very useful book, suitable for all levels of interest, form the very in depth to the basic need to know. Well worth having.
