Best used with large flashers while fishing fairly deep for strong fish. With the strong gripping power you never have your line and flasher release accidently when trolling deep, or at higher speeds.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the length of the cable: 16 inches is too short in my opinion. I will re-rig the clip with 3-4 feet of heavy monofilament for my downriggers.
