This extension was just the ticket I was after: universal, country-agnostic plug points and multiple USB charging points with a decent amperage output (albeit shared across all 6 ports).Build quality was only so-so. Very plasticky as you might expect, but to me not 'substantial' enough like your regular home-grown MK-branded extension leads.The big button on the top switches on the entire extension. Interestingly, the blurb reads that it supports devices of up to 10 amps, but there is a 13 amp fuse in the main plug. I'm no electrician so I don't know if this is a correct/legal set-up but maybe there is a secondary fuse inside because just two days in, with only a laptop plugged in, there was an almighty 'pop', a puff of smoke and then the strong smell of burning plastic.My main household fuse box tripped and that was the end of this extension lead. Despite the fact that the 13A fuse was still intact, nothing else on the unit worked. Hence, that's why I think there's a secondary fuse inside.Anyway, long story short -- I would certainly not recommend this extension for one device, let alone its ability to power up to four, plus USB gadgets.Fortunately, I got a very quick refund.

This is a great product for when one uses devices from different continents, i.e. an extensive use of both UK and EU devices. The surge protection makes it a great purchase to protect computers and the 6 USB ports these days are not going amiss either. Some ports need initially a careful hand as they offer initial resistance but that can also be seen as sturdiness that is needed.I purchased initially two pairs and my girlfriend is really happy with it, I take one with me abroad on trips so as long as I have a converter with me, whilst travelling it provides all connections necessary for a laptop and all other devices.Up until now I can highly recommend this product !

Absolute Rubbish!Bought this a few months ago for when moving home, only just got round to setting it up, plugged it in, blue light came on when I pressed the switch button and instantly went out, no power what so ever to any of the 4 sockets or the USB sockets, tried it in nearly every plug socket in my house and will not work!What a waste of £22I never leave reviews but felt this warranted one, perhaps I got a faulty one, but the fact I have no option to return now has really annoyed me, will learn to try all my electricals the minute they arrive in future

This extension lead with usb slots is great! I can charge my phone, smart watch, laptop and any other devices in one place! Don't need any adapters! I can use Chinese UK US European devices! Worth to mention is the item has bold extension cord fuse ,so it is very safe , best to control to plug in and off .otherwise the Built-in Surge Suppressor and switch button could protect the kids from hurt . Really helpful! So happy with this item! Also，I buy main charger together , it also works great ,its simple design ,which is very easy to take when in travel ,worth mention is the light indicator it is charging .Highly recommended!

Had the product a month and it's now started arcing, can hear the characteristic buzzing. Just outside of return window unfortunately. Would not buy again nor recommend.Update: a week later the unit completely died. Avoid.

Took this on holiday to Egypt and it blew a fuse almost immediately which made it useless from literally day 1. Since, bought the iBlock universal socket adaptor which, although it only has 3 sockets , rather than the 4 of this version, works really well.

HiThese plugs & USB are brilliant..This is my second one as I use a lot of gadgets either with a plugor a USB .Are homes never have enough sockets to keep up with the techno of today.Also this universal power strip can be used in my office too. They are great

I buy a lot of equipment from the Eu and its a pain having all those clip on or plug in adapters that then make the actual plug sit up so high off the power strip.Not anymore. I just plug and UK or EU plug straight in. Nice, neat, tidy and no trip hazard eithet
