Must have tool for medium skilled to pro painters
Great tool. I did some exterior painting on a cabin and this made masking windows, doors, eves, and everything else a breeze. Shortens prep time and gets you spraying faster. I docked the tool 1 star because of the tape. Trimaco, if you're listening, get rid of that stuff or check your manufacturer. It was atrocious. I couldn't get it started and when I did it would go about two inches and rip apart again. After struggling with it for 30 minutes I threw it the "bleep" away. Not really. I threw it in my burn bag and used it to start a fire in the fire pit. Worked good for that. I had plenty of "Duck" painter tape around and used that. Perfect. Went to town. No issues after that. Great tool and if you get a better roll of tape than I, good for you, just have another roll handy just in case.

Don't use the tape!
I'm giving this tool 3 stars because it works well and saves a lot of time, but the tape that is included with it is complete trash. You can't take off more than and inch or two if you're lucky before the tape starts to tear apart. Good thing I had other masking on hand for my spray job because if I didn't then I'd have to give 1 star because that would have held up my job. I ordered a few things from this manufacturer and I'm pretty happy with everything, except the tape. Maybe they shouldn't make their own tape.

Works ok.. could use some improvements though
An absolutely handy tool.... but quite hard to cut with the cutter. Had to first pull out the piece to measure then tear by hand..... and the tape was horrible! I had to lower the level I’d normally tape at.... to put another piece of tape above by a different brand, so it would actually stick to the exterior window frames.

Tape is no good.
The tape that comes with unit in no good. It keeps peel when you use it.

blade was sharp no kidding
The item delivery was awesome, received all item and the blade was super sharp no kiding, its even kiss me a little so becare full guys.. btw im from malaysia.✌️

Be careful placing the cutting blade on the handle
Was a little hard to assemble but everything fit just fine, the blade cover comes off easy and the handle's foam grip does come off after a little use. This product is great for the price and is cheaper than the 3M counterpart, it works just fine and does make placing taped film or painter's paper on large jobs a breeze.
