Performs as Expected
The paper shredder works as expected from the description. Performs best when running just a few sheets of paper through at a time, though it can handle up to 8 sheets as mentioned in the product description. After shredding quite a bit I am still quite pleased with the purchase.

Excellent shredder
This shredder is great for smaller jobs. Very quiet, efficient. If you have a great deal to paper to shred, you'll either need lots of time, do it over a period of time, or order another shredder that can handle large jobs.

Little Workhorse
My Sentinel FX81B-8 has performed as expected. Although the product literature suggests the shredder is capable of shredding 6-10 sheets, I set a limit of 4-5 sheets per shredding. It is better for the motor. The shredded fragments are perfect for shredded personal documents. Also, I don't believe the shredder is intended for continuous shredding of plastic cards.I would recommend the use of lubrication sheets.This is a very good general use shredder. And, for the price, it is well worth the purchase. I highly recommend the Sentinel FX81B-8 shredder for home general use.

Need to figure out what I need to do about the paper that is rolled around the cutter. Then all will be well. Do not overfill the catch basket.

It just works fine. I do a little at time. When gets warm, the machine will stop for 10 minutes or so.
