The W10195416 Lower Dishwasher Wheel is used in a dishwasher to easily roll rack back and forth on the rails. To repair, open the dishwasher door and pull out the lower dish rack. Next, push the tab from both sides and it should pop out. To install the new wheel assembly, place it on the rack and make sure the caps overlap the wire from the inside before you clip it in place by pushing the wheel. Slide the rack back in the washer to make sure it is installed correctly.Replaces part numbers: AP5983730, PS11722152, W10195416, W10195416VPWorks with most top name brands: KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Kenmore.Count on our W10195416 Lower Dishwasher Wheel Replacement for an unrivaled mix of durability, convenient functionality, and great value for money. Better built version of the original
Our dishwasher's lower rack wheels made it about a year before the two front pairs started popping off regularly whenever the rack had a decent load in it which is near daily with our heavy dinnerware. I don't recall that we've ever owned a dishwasher that has done this at all let alone so soon, but after a few times on my knees trying to find where the parts rolled to or having to fish them out of the dishwasher floor, I took a closer look at what is a really poor design for wheel attachment (Mech Des Engineer by trade talking here). I was skeptical about ordering "factory replacements" given the design, even at 1/3 what Whirlpool was asking, but felt like I didn't have much choice short of "fixing" these myself with more secure home-made axles another reviewer made. Saw these on Amazon, read the reviews and decided they sounded like they'd made some improvements and the wheel attachment that I could barely see in one photo looked a little more robust. I decided to give them a try for the two front pairs. Glad I did (so far). Outwardly these look almost identical, but the snap rivet/axle has a much more positive retention and actually appears permanent as opposed to something easily removed. The attachment of the overall "trolley" assembly (what you see in the main photo) is effectively identical to the original parts used on most of the many lower racks for dishwashers built by Whirlpool including our Maytag. The old parts pop off easily and these snap on in their place. Entire repair might have taken 90 seconds including tearing open the bags they come in. Could not have been easier. Only time will tell if they hold up, but I feel these will be much better than the original equipment or any exact copy of those. I'm going to modify my original set with some corrosion resistant fasteners and keep them as spares just in case, but I expect I won't need them. I knocked off a star ONLY because you really can't rate these without putting some time on them, but my first impressions are nothing but positive.

Why pay the higher price and a service call when you can do it yourself.
I love being able to order these off the web. I don't have to pay an enormous price at the parts house and I get them in a timely manner. On my last order I got 2 extra just to have them on hand. We use our dishwasher a great deal in our home and this parts last longer than the original one but it still wears out, breaks from the washer being loaded wrong and so on. The first time you put them on it takes a minute but, look to see how the one you are replacing is installed and just mimic its placement when replacing. It will take all of say, 2 minutes to replace.

Fits & rolls fantastic
The wheels arrived a day early & they fit perfectly. I have a 7 year old kitchen aid dishwasher whose wheels started falling off the 1st year. I had one set of wheels left & decided I had to call a repairman or try to replace them myself. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. It is wonderful to be able to slide the lower shelf in easily. We are retired on a set income & it just seems that appliances are not made to stay together & work. I am just thankful for the money I saved not to have to call a repairman for such a simple fix.

Try this before calling the repairman!
My husband installed this easily and the part looked identical to the broken one. Good price too!I must say Kitchenaid appliances are not what they used to be. Third time worked on in about 3 yrs. Old one lasted @ 30 years with quality original parts. If not for vendors like you, it would be difficult to even afford to keep a dishwasher in working condition. Thank you!

Snaps right in
The wheel studs on our Kitchenaid dishwasher bottom rack started popping off so the wheels would fall off. We searched for replacements and this is what we were able to find. The old wheel assemblies pop off easily and these snap in very easily. There are no instructions included but putting on the replacement is pretty intuitive. These were the best price that I was able to find. I wish that I could find just the snaps that hold the wheels as that is all I really needed.

Nice Product
These wheels seem to be of good quality. Unfortunately, they aren't an exact match for my Kitchenaid dishwasher. That's probably my fault. I didn't actually check my model number, since they looked right in the picture. The central part is a little taller on my dishwasher. I installed the wheels anyway, and it doesn't seem to matter. The rack rolls fine.

Work well and are cheap. You HAVE to watch a Ytube video to figure out how to install. Once you see it done it is super simple. If you don't see the video you will NEVER figure out who to pull the old one and install the new one. It's actually quite elegant how it fits.Beware, however, that these things will not any longer than the originals. The plastic axels are the same and they will fail like the original.

The part we needed
This part was exactly what we needed to repair our dishwasher. For whatever reason the wheels of our dishwasher kept popping off and we could not get them to reattach because the smaller inner clip was nowhere to be found. We now have replaced the faulty wheels and purchased back up just in case! This product was the exact fit necessary to get everything up and running again.
