The genuine leather welting, the waxed laces and the refined eyelets highlight the soft leather uppers that require no breaking in. We finish the shoes with a satin wax but you can also bring them up to a brilliant shine with your own favorite shoe polish. The Founder is fully lined with cowhide glove leather and we do not use any glue between the uppers and the linings so that the shoe breathes naturally and the shoes conform to your foot. The Founder comes with our triple density orthotic that uses Poron memory foam and a vegetable tanned leather covering which is healthier for your feet.

Most comfortable dress shoe ever worn!
The shoes are not exactly what I ordered, but as it turned out I have no complaints. Ordered the Founder but received the Market Cap. However, on seeing these and trying them on I really like the Market Cap so I'm keeping these (they are the same price). And the shoes really are "ridiculously comfortable"! So much so that I went on the Samuel Hubbard web site and ordered a different pair directly from them. The price is same as Amazon and they also have free shipping.

Excellent shoes.
This is an excellent shoe. Leather quality and construction are both excellent. Comfort is way better than a similar shoe with traditional construction and leather sole. Insole is high quality, too. All this comes at a price, as we all know, but these shoes are still priced on the high side, which brings them down a star. Would give them 4.5 stars if possible.

They feel as comfortable as they look. A great choice for professionals in suits who walk a lot!
After wearing leather shoes for decades, I wanted something new and more comfy with rubber soles. A month later after receiving my order and an average of 6 miles of walking distance per day, I am still very happy with my choice. I will give it anither 2 months as to see how the leather will cope with the local humidity. If ok, I will surely place an order for the same model in brown.

Smooth as a Baby’s Bottom
Great shoes. They are extremely comfortable. I am on my feet all day long, with my work, and before, my dogs would be killing me, with my previous shoes. Now, I almost hate to take them off at the end of the day!
