you have to be very careful teh sticky part does not stick to the top of the Trap. Also there is nothing like scent or other to draw a snake into it. but the sticky is very strong. Caught a skunk and mouse on one but not a snake..

They absolutely work, just have to be patient!
I just caught my first copperhead in the large trap I got. I knew they were in the area because I'd seen them. You have to be very patient, it took almost 3 weeks. I'm very impressed with the way that creature stuck to the glue board. I just placed an order for my third trap. I am trying to keep my dogs from getting bitten again.
