Mixed feelings.
This case is certainly waterproof, but I've had to super glue the protective bumper back on. It does not hold up well to repeated opening and I recommend carefully using the charging port with a screwdriver rather than a coin on the corner as the instructions recommend. Was how the bumper got torn and ultimately came off the hard plastic. Fortunately, glue job did not damage the waterproofing.Sound quality of the microphone is affected. Folks at the other end say it sounds like I'm at the bottom of a well. Using a blue tooth or aux microphone resolves this.Considering this is the only waste proof case for the S4mini that isn't a bag, it's worth the purchase, but I recommend reinforcing the corner for opening or use a screwdriver as I said before. I'm not sure I would trust this case to take the beating that I know an OtterBox can take. I'm afraid to try it.

Great for protecting your phone if you are doing activities near waterBad for day to day useHave had this product for a week now and it is great as a water proof case if you know you are going to be needing a case that is waterproof. I did the recommended waterproof check and the case was perfectly dry inside after 45 minutes under water. Otherwise it is not so good. It is both hard to hear calls and to be heard during calls. Also the rubber stopper that covers the charging port got accidentally pulled off and will not reattach to the phone case and so mine is now no longer waterproof. Also The screen protector portion causes a lot of glare so it is hard to see your screen when outside.

Seems Shock Proof but Don't Buy Specifically for Waterproof Feature
Pieces started falling off within 2 months of purchase so it's no longer waterproof (I live by the beach and accidentally "drowned" my last 2 phones so being waterproof is a pretty big deal for me) but it's still shock proof and thank god for that because I drop it twice a day.I concur with other comments too-- it's hard for people to hear me (though I've been able to hear them just fine), and some buttons/the 'swipe down' menu at the top of the screen can be hard to use, but I'd expect that with any low-cost full-body case tbh. I also don't like that it blocks the little LED light that indicates a new message and sometimes I forget to check my phone if I dont see the light.tl;dr, It's okay for the price, but I wouldn't bother if you're specifically buying it for the waterproof feature.

Doesn't Fit
When the case is in place, it covers part of the screen and blocks access to the drop down menus. Thus, the case is totally useless. And, it took almost 5 weeks to be delivered which is ridiculous. Now, I'm stuck with a case I can't use and considering the difficulty of getting it FROM CHINA, NO LESS, how in heck would I ever get it returned? If it fit properly, it would be fine.

Not impressed.
It's true when they say you get what you pay for... I don't like the fact I'm no longer able to see the blinking light telling me I have a message or missed call. The plastic tab that allows one to turn the phone on and off came out and is now lost. Back to my trusty old Otterbox.

Can't talk on phone with this case on. Hard to hear and receiver can't understand what you're saying.I only use it when it rains and in the shower, so I don't know how it does in a poolm

great case for an active lifestyle. My first mini was destroyed when it was three weeks old. No I worry a lot less
