Even very greasy hair came out feeling clean. Great for my vibrant color!
[Image attached to this review is before using this cleansing conditioner stuff, but my hair looks just as vibrant after my first wash.]Okay, so I'm a person with a naturally oily complexion and usually wash my hair every day or it gets greasy. Last Sunday, though, I got my hair dyed with beautiful, vibrant colors and my stylist told me only to wash every 3-4 days. That sounded pretty awful but I spent a lot of money on this hair color and want to keep it looking awesome as long as possible, so... okay.I waited until Wednesday night before doing my first post-color hair washing. By then, my hair was so greasy it practically felt like a helmet. I desperately wanted a "real" shampoo with suds and all that, and I really didn't believe this cleansing conditioner was up to the job. But, for the sake of my colors I went ahead with it. Washed with cool water and a little of this Color Assure stuff, making sure to scrub my scalp with my fingers and rub it in all along the hair. I waited several minutes before rinsing.I'm not gonna lie -- while my hair was still wet, it felt pretty gross. I was sure it was still greasy and heavy. The texture also felt icky, but I think most of that was the dryness caused by the bleaching and dye, so I don't blame this product for it. To my great relief, as my hair dried (I always air dry), it came out softer, cleaner, and fluffier than I would have believed. Overall very happy with this so far and plan to use it every 3rd day, relying on dry shampoo (and hats!) in between. Will update if anything changes.

Dollar store conditioner
I feel silly for not reading the ingredient list before buying. This is the same smell, consistency and near identical formula to a certain cheap brand of conditioner one can buy for under a dollar, but sold for over ten for some reason. Nothing wrong with it, it performs as expected, but if I had know it’s essentially White Rain I could have gotten that for cheap or stuck with my favorite salon brand for the price. Will finish but won’t buy again.

Yay new go to co wash... UPDATE: PRICE HAS LITERALLY DOUBLED FOR 8 OZ NO WAY!!!
Very good period. Always have liked the Nexus stuff in general and have used the color assure products but not this co wash one. Wow was going crazy after Redkin discontinued the Genius and can't find Biolage one either. Horrid smell of Carols Daughter ones. So happy to find this, yay, For reference I used it after coloring my own hair during this covid crap and it was soft after bleaching! Love my new go to! UPDATE: They are now PRICE GOUGING by Literally doubling price. I know how much they go for at beauty supply store too!!!!

Extends semi permanent color and leaves my thin oily Fine white girl hair clean and voluminous.
Hair type: I’m a white girl with fine thin oily hair.Hair needs: moderate conditioning for dryness from bleaching and dying. Color extending. Oil control.Hair history: I’ve been dying my hair purple (and sometimes other unnatural colors) for over half my life. Manic panic is garbage for staying power, but has some of the best colors. Manic panic washes out in a week if I use sulfate free shampoo, even their own expensive vomit smelling shampoo (1-2 washes if I use non sulfate free). I’ve tried many cowashes and nopoo methods, but always left me greasy and heavy. Other ladies told me to use dry shampoo/shampoo less often, this did not work for me. The washing I had to do to get the dry shampoo and grossness out of my hair was way more stripping than just shampooing every 1-2 days! Eventually I resigned myself to touching up my hair every single week.THE REVIEW: I saw this bottle on clearance at Kroger, decided it was worth a shot for 3$. Brought it home and used it. The conditioner is runnier than shampoo or conditioner, and it doesn’t lather like shampoo nor does it have a heavy slip like a good conditioner. I didn’t have high hopes. I put a dollop on my scalp, worked it in, rinsed it off. Then I used it again like a conditioner (ends, working up, avoiding scalp for the most part). It wasn’t tacky, and it does have a fair amount of slip. I rinsed it away and towel dried. My hair looked clean! What! It had volume, no oil, not heavy, just looked clean! My ends and frizz were smoothed! So I continued to use it, but every 3 days I use a sulfate free shampoo because eventually it does look a little heavy- If you have dry/not oily hair this might be a perk for you. I used up the bottle and now have to pay full price, but it’s worth every penny. It extends manic panic/semi permanent dye for weeks and it cuts my hair care routine in half.I love this conditioner, highly recommend, 10/10

Meets expectations
This stuff is really thin, which makes it really easy to use it up really quick. It's a combination of it coming out of the bottle too much, too fast and also using more than you would usually use compared to a thicker consistency cleansing conditioner due to it not spreading as far through my hair. But as far as cleansing conditioners go and believe me, I've tried a lot of different ones, I don't hate it. I don't know if I will be purchasing it again because it definitely doesn't last long, but the scent is nice, leaves my hair soft, and usually only have to use a residue shampoo 2x a month while using it, which is about standard for me.

Good for shine and body
I really love this two in one cleansing/conditioner!! There are no sulfates so be aware that it will not suds up on your hair that much but this helps to keep it from becoming dry. I also leave it on for five minutes before washing it off. I am a swimmer and I love how this keeps my hair healthy and shiny because the chemicals in the pool are so very harsh on my hair. Great product for the money!

A perfect “in between shampoos cleanser” for curly haired folks!
I use this between shampoos to keep my hair clean but feeling moisturized. My hair is thick and wavy and this helps so if I have any product in my hair, it seems to take it out without any issue. It’s a great consistency to run through wet hair, leave in a few minutes, and wash out. I feel like it keeps my curls bouncy and clean without compromising moisture.I wouldn’t recommend this method to someone who has straight or oily hair since it does leave my hair feeling like I used conditioner. So it could cause oil or build up if you already have that issue.

Fake/ expired - NOT NEXXUS
This is NOT the same product as the store-bought version. It’s fine I guess but not nearly the quality. I don’t know what this is, but it’s definitely not nexxus.
