Fun to watch our UPS bring this BIG box to our door...it looked so heavy but he carried with one hand. I was surprised that I received 2 covers...I thought it was just one. The white was nice and bright not dull. The split made artaching to old rid very easy. I had to shorten about an inch...very easy with a pair of scissors.

This was much easier to install than I expected. I measured the rod and cut the cover to fit. Putting it on the rod wasn't hard as there is a slit down the center of the cover. If you're doing it alone then take it slowly as the cover is stiff and doesn't open easily. If you go too fast you'll end up bending it. I imagine it would be faster and easier with two people. I got the silver cover mainly because I didn't see a shade of purple that I liked. The shower curtain hooks slide smoothly over it which is nice as the rod it is covering was rough and the hooks didn't slide at all. It came with two covers so I have a bonus in case the first one wears out. It is a little costly but the quality is good.

The annoyance of the shower hangers hitting that spot on the rod when opening up the curtains was huge, some mornings more than others. Now those hangers glide quietly opening and closing and it is so nice not to step out of the shower not pissed off at how stupid the design of a simple shower rod is! Thank you. One less frustration in my life is definitely a good thing!!

Low mark for adhesion is because there is no adhesive involved. This product is the correct size for a shower rod. I used it to cover wooden towel rods that, despite bleaching, still showed black marks from dampness over the years. Low mark for sturdiness is that, of necessity, this product is a thin plastic. That thickness was a good thing for me because it was easily cut to the sizes I needed for the towel rods. While it is thick enough for the job at hand, it did arrive with several 'wrinkles' from handling/shipping. These wrinkles did not impact my application and, I believe, would not seriously affect any other use. Yes, this product was easy to install. The rod was flexible enough to allow for installation on the towel rods, but it was a two-person job. Because a shower rod has a greater diameter than a towel rod, we used a waterproof medical adhesive tape to tighten the diameter at the ends and a horizontal piece in the middle of each application. This use of this product is working out nicely for me, and I wish I had gotten online to find it years ago when 'beige' might have still been available.

the shower rod in my bathroom of my rented apartment was in horrible state, and it would not be replaced, so this makes it look brand new!!!

There were 2 in the box which is good. I couldn’t believe it came in such a big box.

I bought this to go over my shower bar because the bar was older and curtain didn’t slide easily anymore. It was easy to put on, looks great and best of all my curtain slides so easily now. Love it.

We have several bird feeders in our backyard that our very fat and friendly squirrels like to climb to dine in the feeders. I had tried to prevent such dining by greasing the pikes with Crisco and Vaseline, to no avail. I ordered the Shower rod covers that arrived without bends, crimps or pesky labels that were mentioned in many reviews. We easily installed the “covers” over the poles and Eureka, problem solved!!!
