Vinyl Fence Plant & Accessory Rail Hanger - White - 8.5 Inch Extension

First, the product exceeded my expectations. It is a hard-to-find item for those of us who have expensive fences made of PVC. This type of fence does not allow for drilling or screwing brackets into it. Instead, you must hang something on it. The item is substantial and powdercoated in white, so as not to damage the PVC. It fits perfectly over my fence and held my heavy 14" hanging planter with ease. Now I have a lovely hanging flower basket where my fence adjoins the entrance to my driveway - a welcoming, summer touch. My only complaint is that the shipping cost for this item was nearly the same as the cost of the item itself. Really seller? This is very excessive and appears to be a roundabout way of profiting. The item is very light and could ship for much less than twelve bucks. Is the item worth $15? Yes, but the shipping should not be $12. Otherwise, this is a great item that I would recommend. Adjust the shipping cost to PRIME and I will purchase additional hooks!!

The price was very high. I paid more than many others who previously reviewed, maybe because it was delivered for free. Previous reviewers complained about high shipping costs, so they'll get you one way or the other. I looked at every garden center near me and found nothing for this task. Salespeople had no idea what I was talking about, but I knew there had to be a hangar made for a vinyl fence. When I found this on Amazon, I purchased three and even though that came to $75 I'm glad I did - my plants are held firmly and are out far enough from the fence to look their best. They were delivered yesterday and I see Amazon now shows them as unavailable. I hope they will bring them back for other customers because they are not easy to find.

We just had new vinyl fencing installed and they work so well and look great!!!! I hung Big pots with morning glories and we have moved them twice ! its so easy to relocate them!

My low rating is not based on the product, which itself is good quality but due to the misleading cost for shipping. I purchased 2 hangers and was charged $12.95 for shipping. The charge did not state "handling" on the Amazon add for this item. When my hangers arrived, I found the true cost for shipping was $6.50. I inquired on this as follows:"Hi - I am curious as to why you charge $12.95 for shipping when the actual cost was $6.50? That is nearly a 100% markup. Seems a bit steep to overcharge that much. Thank you."The response I received back was: "Even though it's called shipping, it's actually shipping and handling. You also have to consider what shipping includes.To ship a package first you start with the box, packing material, ink, labels, my time to package the order and make up the paperwork and not to mention the gasoline to get the package to Post Office and my time to stand inline to mail it. That comes to between 15 and 20 dollars. So where is the steep markup?"I find the response immature and rude and would not recommend purchasing from the seller. Furthermore, he asks back "Where is the steep markup?" Well, Jim - if you buy the same 2 hangers direct on your web-site you only charge $8.95 and not $12.95 for a $4 dollar difference which is a 45% difference. So, by your own explanation why aren't you charging $15 to $20 dollars?My thought is both the seller's pricing and personality based on his response both have a steep markup. I would not recommend buying a product from someone who responds to a paying customer that way and does not disclose "handling" on his Amazon ad.

Fantastic product and worth the wait. Fits perfectly and looks beautiful. Couldn't find anything similar at nurseries in California. Had a brand new vinyl fence installed and really didn't wNt to drill into it to hand planter baskets. Spent the coin on 6 of these and waited and wAited for their arrival. They slide on effortlessly and work perfectly. I'm off to buy more baskets now!

These attached sturdily to my new PVC fence without the need of any hardware. They easily hold a large, heavy hanging plant. And it's important that the plant is held away from the fence so the flowers on the back aren't squished. Great customer service too! I had ordered 4 but only 2 arrived in the first shipment. I called customer service and they sent the other 2 quickly. Very happy with this product and company.

The product itself is of good quality, but if you are planning on hanging it on a thinner vinyl fence, this is not for you.Within a few days, the weight of my plant caused the hanger to dent the fence.

This hanger is durable & will not scratch a vinyl fence. This product is made of excellent quality. Blends in nicely with the fence to place the focal point on the flowers.JPG
