Q: Can anyone tell me how heavy these are? I have arthritis so need to be light enough to work with

Just over 300g. I find them pretty light and easy to use on most materials. Thick plastic can need a bit more grip & for e to get a cut started, but on other stuff they go like a hot knife through butter.

Q: Does this product carry the British safety kite mark?

well never saw one on mine but never really checked to be honest. Have been using them extensively and had no issues at all though.
