Doesnt collapse in on itself when you're going from sink to freezer like most silicone trays. Had a harsh silicone smell straight out of the package but a quick wash took care of that and it left no smell or taste on the ice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ really easy removal *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2019* I gravitate towards ice cube trays that have covers because i'm scared the ice is going to absorb the smells and tastes of all the meat in the freezer. only issue is that the ones with covers tend to be very rigid and the ice is hard to pop out.the silicone in this makes it very easy to pop out the ice cubes. i can even use it to make little smoothie cubes to use when i need to. just one warning, the bottom is flimsy so can make putting them in the freezer when fully a little tricky!
