LiTHELi 40V Cordless String Trimmer 13 inches with 2.5AH Battery and Charger

This trimmer was working fine and suddenly stopped working and would not start again. So disappointing after only being used a minimal amount of times.

I bought the unit a few weeks ago and needed to purchase new spools and am told they are not available. I won't be able to buy them until JULY. I should have researched this further before I purchased the unit I suppose. So we are looking at no availability until July if that happens, then ship time these days on Amazon I may not have use of the unit for months.Regarding the weedeater, it is a little heavy but I do like the battery pack, it is lasting hours in use. The machine auto feed is a bit temperamental though and sometimes takes several revvings to get it to release more line and on the first spool, we lost a lot of line because the unit just threw it out suddenly all over so we have had to go to the additional spool that came in the reserve chamber on the handle.Getting use to the buttons that allow change to edger, or to manipulate the unit for different angles has a bit of a learning curve process as well. That said, battery life and strength of this unit is great. It will, when line extended, cut through the brush like a champ. Yesterday as an example we were cutting through an overgrown back area of the lot and the weedeater ran for HOURS. It is also attractive looking and the battery power pack recharging unit works fast.I will add it is not a light weight unit, it has some weight to it, your arms certainly will get some workout, which is not all a bad thing, if you are wanting to tone those arms lol. I am disappointed I cannot get new spools for the unit now .I do hope I have not shelled out 150.00 on a weedeater I cannot readily get replacement spools.

I received Litheli 40V Trimmer a few days ago and used it to trim my lawn. I have 2 small size lawns and needed to trim them low.Cons:1) The string does not release automatically. I had to manually keep releasing it every few minutes and that is the most annoying part of this product and it slows the work considerably.2) The trigger has to be continuously pressed in order to keep it running. There is no lock on the trigger to keep it running. So for a job of 60 min. the fingers and hand tire out and you need to stop many times to give your hand a rest.3) The single string does do the trim job but is not as fast and great as double string trimmers.Pros:1) Battery. Single charge does last around 60 min and recharge is fast.2) Warranty and return policy.I plan to return the trimmer. I also ordered a Litheli blower and that works nicely as expected. Will keep that.

Worked great the first time I used it. Was able to do the trimming around the trees, mail box, and house and still had charge on the first use. During the second use I was trimming around the side of the house and still had two lights on the battery. I stopped the unit to move a limb. Even with two lights left on the battery the unit would not start again. I recharged the battery over night and the unit still would not work start with a fully charged battery. Told Amazon and they had a new unit out in two days and told me to keep the battery of the original unit for the inconvenience of the first unit failing. Now I have my new weed trimmer with two batteries.

I was very excited to receive this because I had been told by a friend that it was very lightweight which is why I was looking to purchase one myself. The first opportunity I got a chance to use it, I was not disappointed. It is very lightweight!! I was able to weed eat entire perimeter of my house within less than 10 minutes...no joke. This would normally have taken me 30 minutes or more because I would had to stop to untangle the cord and rewind the spool. Speaking of the spool, I did not have to stop once to rewind it...what a bonus! I have a small yard (avg lot size, not acres) so one spool will normally last two rounds; hence, a larger yard (lot, not acres) may take two spools for one trim and edge. Nevertheless, I would recommend this product especially if you are looking for a lightweight trimmer.

This is a really solid made tool. Made out of think materials. It looks like it's built to last. Because the materials are so solid it's a bit heavy to lug around. But that doesn't effect when you start working. The carry handle was actually so thick that it wouldn't flex when I tried to install it. I had to use a hammer to hammer it in. That was kind of annoying. This trimmer has guide wheels so you can roll it in the floor so once you start actually working it's not heavy at all. There battery got full charge in just 30 mins. That was enough to last the whole day off yard work for me, front and back lawn. I give this five stars based on quality of build and ease of use.

I'm that neighbor in your community who cuts the grass and leave the edges untamed. It's not that I'm lazy, it's because I can't do it easily due to my wrist issues. My friends told me about this tool he got so I gave it a try. Man! It was easy to edge my lawn because all I have to do is guide it along the lawn on the edging wheels. Brilliant and takes away the need for me to hold it up and keep it steady. I'm an edging guru now with this tool!

Overall I was liking this trimmer until it stopped working after using it less than 10 times over a two month period. I have reached out to the company through their website, phone, and through Amazon contact vendor feature and no response over the last three weeks. It's very disappointing experience. I will continue to try to contact the seller and update this later. I also have the blower which is working fine but given the lack of company response I would think twice about buying their products.Update July 2020 - I contacted seller view Amazon messaging and they responded. sent me a new trimmer at no charge. We'll see how it lasts.
