Our 1/2" x 10" taper candles are ideal for church services, candlelight vigils, ceremonies, or at any event where candles will be hand-held. Included are paper bobeches (drip protectors) to catch drips and keep molten wax off of hands. Each box includes 50 taper candles and 50 paper bobeches (drip protectors). Burn time is approx. 2 hours when burned in ideal conditions; hand-held candles and candles burned outdoors will have a shorter burn time due to drips.

Not bad for the price, but the size/thickness was very non-uniform. That is, few of the candles were close to 1/2 inch in diameter at the base. Most were narrow. It also took picking to find straight ones.

The right size
I looked high & low for this particular size candle. I was hoping, though, for something that was "drippy" for a craft project. These did not say dripless but they don't drip. So I was able to use these candles since they were the 1/2" base I required and used other candles to drip on them.

It was exactly what I expected. However, on the exact day that I submitted this order, my credit card was compromised, unauthorized charges started showing up, and it had to be cancelled. This might be a total coincidence, but the timing was uncanny.

Used for RN pinning ceremony
