EPIC TRANSFORMER 100%
I love this transformer. The best in my opinion. Movie accurate is spot on. The package came sooner than I expected and was undamaged, but the only thing missing on my package were the little green army soldiers. In my case it's not really a big problem to me. Over all 5 stars :)

SO 5 STARS IT IS!!!!
Hi. I'm TFcollect here with another editorial review. And this is on the Wei-jiang OS Hide Shadow aka HAS/TAK SS Transformers Movie "Blackout"Now if your familiar with my review you'll know that I never give a KO 5 stars. Simply because they are not the creator a of the original engineering designers. However, I have to make an exception. And I will get into the reasons why later in my review. This will be a bit lengthy so bare with me.First off he's a parts-former. And I know some collectors have a problem with that. I particularly do not especially with a parts-former that has a creative approach to making those parts useful. And Wei-jiang said that just that. And with that he has no ugly back kibble and brings a more movie accuracy to this figure. Let's start with these partsTHE ROOF&BELLY: on the original Has/Tak the 3/24ths of his roof hangs off of his back. It's not that bad but in comparison to Wei-Jiang, we know that Has/Tak could've been more creative. This appendage on the Has/Tak is now a part of the Wei-Jiang movie inspired diorama. I'll get into that. With that Wei-jiang gave their OS version and underbelly that covers the robot junk underneath the Has/Tak version. Giving him a complete Alt-mode. This underbelly also serves as the final piece to the movie inspired diorama. It becomes the stand for it.DIORAMA: the diorama is inspired by the movie Scorponox desert attack. It comes complete with miniature plastic soilders, a car and the billboard that had fallen in the movie. And Scorponox is also included in this package. He is also an OS version of the Has/Tak SS piece. And this diorama is highly detailed with really good paint applications that makes it pop and it's a wonderful addition to an already fabulous piece. Now these are also what can be defined as his Assesories. Now to go on further with the rest.He comes with 6 detachable rotor Blades and Tail Rotor. All of the above mentioned are in separated locations in the packaging. The detachable Rotor blades where a great idea. Not only for T-formation purposes but also for movie accuracy. Ex. He has 3 rotor blades on each side. 3 are turned to the right, the other 3 are turned to the left. And you now have the option to do so. Now if you have the HAS/TAK SS you should know that the blades get in the way when you Tform him. You will not have this problem with the Hide Shadow. Lastly is his tail rotor. Just like the HAS/TAK it is detachable for Alt-mode and robot mode. That should cover his assesories, parts and Diorama. Now let continue with the best parts.ROBOT MODE: He is huge, hefty and outstanding. Giving the fact that his parts can be taken off. He's so spellbinding to look at. He stands from head to toe about 10" or more, however from head to rotor motor he's about 12" in his movie stance. You can straighten his legs and make him taller if you like. I'm into movie accuracy so he's in his chicken leg stance. He is very well built. Plastic quality is superb and extremely sturdy with a gloss finish. As I had mentioned in my SS review. I did he wasnt what I would official consider a leaderclass figure. Well, the hide Shadow is it. He has a highly detailed headsculpt and his overall paints are beyond compare. It's a premium paint job that amazing. He looks frightening and heartless and fearless and his poseability is unbelievable. I also mention that the SS versions hands were hideous and useless. The Hide Shadow has fully articulated hands. And they look great. They also added more features to his feet. His toes are now without the look of them resting on his alt-mode parts. They now have it to where you flip and secure them out of the way to give his toes their own separated look. Its genius to say the least. He is massively impressive.ALT-MODE: he's basically 2' in length. From refueling stem to his Tail rotor. He is absolutely gigantic in size. And his alt-mode has added features as well. Wei-jiang has taken this figure to another level of creativity. Now his fuel tanks have no empty space in them. They are now full and completely finished. And they added rubber working clanging gear by which the main front gear swivels which gives it a very smooth roll. This Helicopter mode is superb in every way. They spared no expense. And unlike the Has/Tak. Its main rotor spin freely. The SS seems to have some resistance. The Hide Shadow spins as if it has ball bearings in both main and tail rotor. And he has a working cargo ramp and door. And with that underbelly, it fully completes this gorgeous alt-mode. Now with all of the beautiful add-on and upgrades, it makes for more steps in transformation.T-FORMATION: Giving the fact that his Blades are now detachable, his T-formation is a little less cumbersome, however due to his sheer size it still is. Just not so much. He comes in his Robot Mode with all assesories detached. So we'll start from there. When T-forming him his fuel tanks are now a part of the T-formation to give him that much more movie accuracy that comes with those extra steps as well as his feet that I mentioned previously I'm this review. Now the add-on which would be his underbelly along with his now detachable roof/diorama also adds to the steps. And you still put the Scorponox inside of the craft. The rest of the T-formation is just like the HAS/TAK just after completing the main T-formation you just place the roof back 1st the the Underbelly. I personally found T-forming him enjoyable. I've T-Formed him about 5x. It's fun, I love it. And speaking of Scorponox. The put some very fine touches on him in regards to his paint apps. Still has the same minimum poseability as the original but he's clearly a much better adaption.PROS&CONS: not much really. Regardless whether it's the HAS/TAK or Wei-jiang I'm still sided on the overly bulky arms, and the Tailrotor....it makes it more bulkier. Now the decals are another problem. They are far from movie accurate perhaps licensing reasons, who knows. But, that's purely cosmetic and not a real issue and is really something you can ignore. Because overall....this figure is amazing. It fits accurately with the HAS/TAK SS figures. These Helicopters are massive. Wei-jiang has re-engineered and added some exclusive pieces to this figure that has brought this action figure to the iconic stage that I can not overlook or under rate. They've done so much to it to call it their own. If you're not knowledgeable on neither of these companies, you would consider HAS/TAK the lazy knockoff company. And with that....I have to give this figure 5Stars for their originality in the development of the Diorama and the creative engineering of parts to this figure that makes it unique and gives it it's own stage in which it stands alone. The Quality highly detailed paint apps, rolling workable rubber landing gear, underbelly the works. There is no question that alot of marvelous thinking and diligent thought was put into this. And I as a collector strongly applaud their efforts. I would not feel right to give them 4stars for this work. So 5Stars it is.I'm Tfcollect, hope you enjoyed the my review. And I always say, check around for price points. Now ROLLOUT!
