I have sampled a number of different ripe puerh teas packed in small dried oranges, and this particular batch is outstanding for flavor and overall quality. I brew these tea-packed oranges whole in a yixing teapot. You need to rinse the tea and throw out the first steeping (15-20 sec). The tea is good for multiple steepings (10+) and the flavors are subtle and refined. The ripe puerh is an aged (6 year) whole leaf of very good quality.

I like dark fermented tea, and have drink them for over 10 years. So I’m use to the strong flavors.This one is average taste. I like make it as the Kungfu style, which I do 2 quick drain washes before my first drink. It’s getting plain after 4-5 brewings. For me, this is very few.Fragrances are ok. You can smell the green tangerines. But not much in the taste.Sum up, it’s not the best, but for the price and how many counts you get, I think it’s not too bad.

I've purchased similar teas in China. The quality of this product is similar to the ones I brought in China but much less in price. I am glad that I could get decent teas like this in the US. Thanks.
