I am a professional photographer both using a medium format camera and iPhone. I also sell online. So having a steady hand is very important but not always possible. I have used many camera accessories over the years including stands like this one that I paid a lot more for.I needed to to replace a gorilla pod that is quitting on me.This Shengsite portable tripod has a removable mount so you can slide it off to place on your camera or use for their bracket which is the standard one you might get on a selfie stick or do what I did and use a heavier duty one I bought on Amazon on this mini pod.For me, the value is in the pod itself which is extremely flexible and sturdy and the Bluetooth remote that seems to be generic and used by many other companies.Although there are no instructions on how to use the remote it is very simple.There is a switch on the side of the remote. You turn it on, go to your settings on your phone and select Bluetooth and it will pair and let you know it is for this remote.To take a photo or video there are two buttons, not sure why, since both seemed to work for me. Maybe one is for Apple the other for Android, not sure.Bottom line is this is lightweight, easy to put in a camera bag, pocketbook or in your jacket and take it everywhere.If you need a portable tripod that is portable and works well. This will be it.

This is my second purchase of this item. Absolutely worth it. The remote was easy to sync to my iPhone and works great with my phone. The stand itself has some weight to it and it is very sturdy. My husband and I both have one and it works great for when we want to watch something one our phones while in bed. I have the IPhone 11 Pro Max and he uses a Galaxy JStar 7plus they both fit perfectly.Follow me: I give honest reviews. I am hear you help you spend your money on quality products. VERY, VERY, VERY impressed with this amazing tripod! Super light, easy to adjust and set - the wireless remote worked immediately - and super easy to put together. I also used this for my mid-sized Canon digital camera. Just side note - for a slightly heavier camera like mine, you cannot use tripod to take vertical shots. I rarely do anyway - so this tripod completely takes care of my photo needs for my cell phone & digital camera. Will definitely be taking this with me on my next trip. Super fun to use! Buy it & have fun with it!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I absolutely, love this stand. Before I invest in a large stand I wanted to try out a smaller tripod.It's small form factor is very sturdy. It is easy to bend and bend to create those magnificent shots from unique angels. This is perfect for desks, shots that require close up in small spaces, railings or other outside places that you can mount the tripod to. I have use it to shoot my videos from my kitchen counter top, porch railing, from a tree branch and even to my nephew stroller so he can watch his cartoon while we walked. The versatility this tripod have is truly amazing.It also comes with the phone mount which works amazing. It fits my IPhone XS max perfectly and I did not have to remove my case. I use it daily as I video chat with friends, take portraits and create videos.

I previously had a cheap little octopus tripod for my phone that I barely ever used. But during this strange season of social distancing and working from home, I actually really needed it, so I could do zoom meetings on my iPhone while leaving me free to take notes on my iPad. Unfortunately, I managed to drop that tripod, and the phone holder part popped off and ran away... Still noidea where it's hiding. So I came here to find an affordable replacement that would ship fast!I was a little worried when I first opened the package, since I immediately saw lots of pieces to assemble, but it turns out there was nothing to worry about. It was quickly obvious which parts I needed to connect, and within just a few seconds, I had a working tripod. Best of all, it's super sturdy (unlike my old one!) and holds my phone very securely. I can't believe I paid so little for it!The remote control probably isn't something I'll get a lot of use from, simply because I don't use my phone in a way that would need it, but it's certainly a cool bonus. It pairs easily and is very simple to use. Overall, this is a fantastic buy and well worth more than I paid for it.

I like that it's thin enough to put in the pocket of a jacket yet the legs are sturdy and flexible not to be moved by gravity or the weight of the phone. I have a GoPro but I didn't use it, instead I tried my iPhone. I didn't try the remote control so I didn't rate it, but the pieces fit tightly in one another and will be good for my travels soon :)

Have only used this once, but wanted to let people know it worked great with my Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown (2018 version). Once the Android update changed my photo app (October,2019), I was able to select video and just use the bluetooth remote to start and stop the recording. Of course, it also worked great for taking photos using the remote. Can't speak to how well it will hold up over time, but it seems sturdy after trying it out.

Yeah! I've tried a few of these and sent them back. I've used a small metal leg extremely sturdy trp-pod for years, so I'm spoiled. This one is the best I've triedm I'm a keeper. The legs are strong. If taken care of this will last. I can twist the legs in any direction. They will not break, if I don't constantly yank around where the legs meet the base,(no need to) this will last for a long long time. . Also, the silver round ball, where you clamp down for holding the camera/phone. It is as strong as my metal ball, it probably is metal, but I can't tell for sure. I probably looked at every small tripod. My friend gave me one, so I had 3 that were as light as a piece of paper absolute junk. Surprised me because this one is at the lowest price. Great sturdy tripod
