You get what you pay for.
Let me start with instructions, because it won't come with any. Press the button for on, hold it to turn off. While off hold it for 3 seconds and it'll make a sound to indicate a different sound set. You cycle through 3 sound sets and then there's a mute one. No option to make it more quiet or louder. With the blade on tap the button for a blaster deflect sound, tap it twice for the blade lock flashing and sound. Tap again to stop that.Something to keep in mind, the really quality sabers that have sound and RGB lighting usually cost $400 or more. This is half that price so you have to expect a certain loss in quality to go along with that. The build of the saber is great. Nothing is loose, no sharp edges, it's comfortable in the hand. It even comes with a heavy grade blade which while it mutes the colors a little is the best option for dueling. So this could be good or bad for you. Some things to be aware of: it shows an illuminated button but that's a lie. It's a plain silver button. The pictures make it look like the crystal will be red to match the blade color, but that's also a lie. No matter what color the blade is, the crystal just cycles through the rainbow the whole time and you can't control that. It has an 18650 battery that looks like it should be removable, which would have been great, but it's glued in. So you're forced to use the cable to charge it. Not a big thing but slightly annoying.The quality loss comes with the electronics inside. It's oddly sensitive to movement. It'll pick up tiny little gestures when you don't want it to, but then miss big swings when it really shouldn't. It comes with 3 sound fonts and they're okay. Two are typical lightsaber sounds you'd expect, one makes it sound like it's a metal sword. It rings and clangs instead of the buzzes and laser sounds, kinda neat. The flash on clash is really not sensitive though, you need to WHACK this thing to make it happen.The colors are a little weird too. I switched to a midgrade blade to see them better so it's not just the thicker blade it comes with. Straight up red, blue, and green are fine. Mixing them is a little weird. What I'm assuming is purple is really close to hot pink, and there's 2 different hot pinks. Also 3 shades of light pink/rose. There's no orange and no real yellow, but there is a yellow/green mix and a yellow/blue mix. For some reason at the tip of the blade it shows more of the green or blue but the bottom of the blade is mostly yellow. Similar issue with white, it shows a good hint of blue in it. Maybe the blue LED is extra powerful?All in all, it's not bad but keep in mind you're basically paying extra for the crystal chamber. You literally cannot get another saber with that and RGB and sound for this price. If you just want the colors and sounds, get one of the Kybers. They're slightly better with the colors and you get volume control. Of course, if you want the REALLY good stuff it's gonna cost way more from a custom maker. For a first saber and something to screw around with friends with, this is great.

I love my new Saber...its a well built solid saber...the overall design is amazing...the glowing crystal is the beating heart of a light saber it pulses and radiates the weapons life...The hilt is heavy the pommel adds counter weight and the blade is ..WOW...YDD you guys did a great job..I'm going to proudly display this in my home...Thank You

My buddy is the one that has one there was a problem with mine and they helped out tremendously to solve the issue but unfortunately they ran out of stock so they refunded me they have great customer service. the one that I tried it was awesome from the design to the cool features it has........... darnit i missed out but i will wait till the next one comes out.

Pretty nice saber for the money. Crystal looks cool, and build quality is impressive, no wires and electrical tape like some big brand saber companies, these have nice chassis holding all electronic components! Best of all, awesome after sale customer service. Highly recommend.
