Beautiful - best I found
I searched far and wide for a cheese board, including Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Etsy, etc. This is the perfect size, the perfect combo, great price, etc. It's a slate board on a lazy susan, with glass underneath the slate. The knives are great, and the three chalk stands are brilliant...it looks like a nice combo. I've had many compliments since getting this piece. I usually do 3 cheeses, a bunch of grapes and a jar of fig jams, and it's a beautiful spread.

Disappointing
Slate Lazy Susan Serving SetMy daughter gave me this for Mother's Day after I admired hers. The design of the markers changed since she got hers. It used to be a small slate that sat in a wood frame instead of the awkward thing you have to stick in the cheese. OK, not a deal-breaker, but one of mine was broken in the box. Seems they also changed the lazy susan mechanism. My daughter's spins easily; mine doesn't turn at all. I can force the mechanism while it's turned over but once it's placed on a surface with cheese on it it doesn't move. Very disappointing!

One Star
This is really cute and really SMALL! I suggest ordering the rectangular one. Ther eis more surface space!

Great Value - High Quality
I would have liked to give this 5 stars because it is a very elegantly designed Lazy Susan and spins effortlessly as if on a magnetic levitation device. One spin and it just keeps going until you stop it. It's only flaw, and this may just be the one I received, but it is slightly uneven. It tilts to one side a little bit. Oddly, this has no effect on the wonderful spinning motion - no wobbling at all. It's not bad enough for me to return for a different one so we're keeping it. The extra pieces for displaying the cheese is a nice touch if you like that kind of thing. My guess is that the host would probably want to tell the guests in person what the cheeses were. It's very bistroesque and adds value to an already unbelievably inexpensive product. I highly recommend it.

Looks And Feels Expensive
This is a fantastic wedding/hostess gift. They will think you spent far more than you did.Matching chalk slate nameplates and holders are cool and the cheese knife set includes tools for hard and soft cheeses. With an artisan salami, some wonderful washed rind semi soft wedges, a special order aged white cheddar and a nice Stilton, some grapes and Door County chopped cherry jam, you have an unbeatable presentation.I put a shallow plate with fresh Burrata next to the lazy Suzan on the end of an oblong cracker board.Get two sets, so when your hostess inevitably asks where you got it, you can say, "oh, this set is for you. Merry Christmas."

Great set! better than i imagined
Came back from Europe where all things slate are hot, hot, hot and wanted something for myself. This is a fantastic set- you get it all: lazy Susan, cheese knives and name plates w/ chalk. The cheese knives are very stylish. The lazy Susan is nice enough to leave out on display. Very happy with my purchase.
