The good, the bad and the ugly! This would have gotten 5 stars, but read on...
The good.I have been flying the Happymodel quads now for 4 to 5 months now, starting with the Mobula 7. I purchased this item for the HD. This thing flies and records fantastic. I don't even mind the added weight of the rohbust video of the caddx camera. This is my story...hope you enjoy it.The bad!First and foremost what happened was my fault.I have been flying the Mobula 7 HD now for about a week. I knew it had an issue with the video as well as it just cutting out completely during mid-flight. This was not a problem, an issue that was easily resolve with unplugging and plugging of the battery. In hindsight, I should have mentioned it to the seller, oops my fault. This is what happened, I was doing a climb on a tree that I am extremely familiar with and the darn thing cut out at mid-flight, No video and Telemetry. The quad ended up lost in this tree. The crazy thing was from all the tree to loose a quad, it was the thickest you can find and it had thousand of bee's swarming on it. In fact, as you get close to it, you can hear the bee's humming. I looked for hours and could not find it in the tree and even If I did how do I get it down with the bee's. Anyway, it got dark and had to leave the park. That evening, it rained and I was sure that was the end of the drone but maybe the bees will be gone.I returned and the bees were gone. I used of pair of binoculars eventually found the drone. Although slightly damp it was in great shape, still looks new. Got it home and buried in rice for more than a day. I plugged it into beta flight and all system are a go!! *u&k yeah!! I maneuvered through the entire menu, the drone was officially saved. I cannot wait to take her out the next day!The ugly!!I got to the park after work and looking for some down time!!Fat shark on, Taranis set to Mobula 7 HD. Only thing to do is plug in the quad and turn on the remote and happymodel times!Plug-In the battery.....in a blink of an eye, the thing went up in smoke. You can hear and see the board fry. I couldn't believe it, both the crazybee f4 pro and the caddx board caught fire.I'm guessing the moisture was not completely gone, it was good enough for the beta flight to work (low volts), but when I plug in my 3s 800mah battery the moisture was enough to create a short. crap that sucked! This thing is an awesome quad until it wasn't! Hahaha.....whaaawhhaa :-DTo be honest, I wish it was still lost in the tree. I'd rather have the hope over the lost cause.

Cheap parts - Don't buy this christmas tree ornament :)
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Was real excited to get this little drone and finally fly it. I finally had a few days off (I work EMS and seldom have ANY time off) and had gotten it set up through beeflight and everything. Of course I went and got 6 batteries to fly this thing on! I had heard about how short the battery life is on the little racers so I thought about everything. When I first started flying, it would veer off in whichever direction and couldn't really hold a hover at all so the calibration doesn't work too well with how the battery sticks down and tilts it I guess, so I learned that I could toggle in beeflight the option to do in-flight calibration and was able to get the tiny whoop stabilized to an extent. So I FINALLY get everything situated in beeflight, get all my batteries charged, updated firmware everywhere and did all my research..... I'm sitting outside in an abandoned clinic parking lot with a little park next to it, a walking trail, a gazebo, you name it, this was a nice little place. I'm out here flying my little whoop for about a minute when out of nowhere (reerrrrrrrrrr!!.... thud.....) My rear right motor had gone out it seemed. I've taken care not to be too harsh on the throttle and even set the throttle limit to 80 in beeflight. Anyways, I wasn't even halfway through my first battery when it was all over. 5 completely charged batteries left but couldn't do anything with them :'( SO MAD! I am a MAD LAD.Later at home I'm taking everything apart and testing everything out. That is when I realized that the motor not spinning up is what caused my lovely little crash (so now the frame isn't so pretty lol) I've ordered some new motors (same exact ones that came with the M7) because of course that seemed like the simple fix. After I replaced the motor it would only twitch a little bit when I'd arm the drone (I turned air mode on for simplicity) and that's exactly what happened with the old motor.... I'm guessing I've got a defective FC board.I probably dragged this out a bit more than I should have but even for me $150 isn't cheap and I'm certainly not happy getting a drone that won't even fly. I've gotten ahold of support and the last thing I've gotten from them was nearly a week ago, the only thing they asked was "Hi Sir,It can be 2 things.ESC or FCIs the motor not moving at all? if that is happend check the wire between esc and fc if they are sill attached."I may be wrong because I'm not a drone expert or anything but this thing looks like an all in one as far as ESC's go. The only wires are plug-ins that go from the motors straight to the FC board.... Obviously I checked them all and even replaced the one. SAME Problem. It's a headache guys.In summary: You're chancing some decent money to some cheap parts. It seems like it would be a sweet drone to rip around but you might just get yourself a cute little dud like I did. It'd be a nice little drone... IF YOU COULD FLY IT :) I've got a 150 dollar Christmas tree ornament now......

It’s bind and fly but it’s not let me explain
Although this is technically a bind and fly drone if you don’t know your way around beta flight and how to configure and reflash flight controllers I would not recommend this The control inputs had to be flipped And the motors were configured in the wrong order after all was sorted which only took a few minutes the drone flew wonderfully if you’re new to the hobby I would recommend getting with someone that kind of knows what they’re doing to set this up but once set up it’s awesome It flies great
