Lovely little gift, however Amazon put the address label on the box and didn’t wrap it. I contacted Amazon to return and the company contacted me and were surprised and upset by this. This was not their fault but Amazon’s. Hard to give as a gift. It wouldn’t of mattered if I was keeping for myself, I sent photos so the company can take this up with Amazon. The set itself was lovely and looked well made and an email of how to get started was also sent, so the company and customer service was very good.

“This review may be a little premature as I have not planted anything yet but I always like to review based on a number of things and because I am a very visual person, I will start with the way it looks, which I think is really lovely. I bought this for my friend’s birthday but have decided to keep it for myself coz I like it that much. The contents are great, the plant tags are like none I have seen and the guide is colorful and seems to have lots of information in it. I am giving this product 5 stars. Once I have planted the seeds and see how they germinate and how the seeds grow, I may have to come back and review this rating but so far, it’s a really lovely product. I really wanted to grow some herbs and this set appealed to me as it came with some proper pots and labels. Aesthetics aside, all my herbs have grown amazingly an it was such a delight watching them grow every day on the windowsill.The basil and the chives take off like rockets, sprouting within a few days. The parsley took weeks to show, but got there in the end.One thing to note is that you are only provided with pellets for the seeds. If you want to transfer to the pots provided you will need your own compost to do this.Great set though, really happy I bought this.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter currently in lockdown as something she could grow in her flat (no garden). Unfortunately I hadn't realised that the medium for growing the plants is not included. There is a small amount of compost provided, enough apparently, to enable germination. Perhaps this should be made clearer.

All you need to herb grow in your kitchenIdeal gift for someone who like to cook. Good quality product and not over priced.

Really pleased with the kitchen herb garden! The instructions were clear and all 5 herbs are doing well. You add the seeds to the pellets and it recommends using a propagator for 7-10 days. I didn’t have one but made a make shift one and when each herb had sprouted I potted them up (I did need to buy compost separately). Would definitely recommend!

This was much smaller than I anticipated, but will be ok for the windowsill.

Nice little set for the kids to start an herb garden. Easy to plant and maintain and we got wonderful results. You will need to transplant each of them eventually to a larger pot (6 inches/15 cm) because the ones provided are too little to hold the moisture they need and you’ll have to water daily.
