I purchased 3 of these fans for my house renovation, primarily for the fan function. I like the clean look and the 38 inch diameter does not overwhelm the smaller rooms in my 1915 house. I did not install them so I cannot speak to that aspect of them, nor have I attempted to set up the smart control features to be able to control them from my phone. Really liked that the wall controller comes as standard. It does work by wireless rather than hard wire which isn't a surprise given the "smart" aspect.The light is flat so definitely casts a down light rather than a whole room glow. The light dims in steps as opposed to a smooth sliding scale. That's not a negative as the 13 levels certainly provide lots of options. The fan's 6 speeds go from a very light air stirring at the lowest to kicking up dust at level 6 with the downdraft/summer setting. Not sure I would ever get beyond 3 or 4 in the room size I have. 5 and 6 starts to get a little more intrusive in terms of noise level if there is no other sound in the room. It is very stable though at the high speeds.All in all very happy with them so far!

I purchased this deeply discounted from Warehouse, not sure I would splurge this much for a fan. Installation was mostly straightforward like any other fan. Once installed it did nothing, I had to take back down and reset then pair with the remote. This added some extra time to the installation.Pairing with the app was easy and allow you to use a fan mode called breeze. The fan speeds up and slows down automatically like a breeze. Very neat.This fan is super quiet at max speed and puts off a ton of air.

I bought 2 of these fans, for both sides of the bench on my front porch. The fans themselves are great. I can enjoy sitting there anytime and NO mosquitoes are bothering me. Also, the 26" blade size was perfect. The fans are Not too small, because you need space around them for the wind to circulate.Installation advice: Set the hand-held remotes at their most desired settings, such as with the light off and at speed 4 out of 6. Then throw the remotes in a drawer and use them rarely, because they are finicky.Ask an electrician to install (a) a standard on-off (toggle) switch on the wall (such as for a light switch). Then just turn the fans off and on. (The fans have memory, so will remember the desired settings.)Therefore, don't buy (b) the $55 WAC Bluetooth wall control. It is finicky and could control only 1 of the fans, because it has a range more like 15' than 30'.

Worked twice, then it started making a loud humming sound for about five minutes, and I couldn’t stop it until it eventually stopped on its own, then it stopped working all together. No fan, no light, nothing. A fan of this expense shouldn’t fail like this. I pain an electrician to install it, so it’s going to cost me another visit to resolve this, even if it eventually gets replaced. Not happy at all!! I would advise against this product.

First of all, I LOVE the look of this fan. Unfortunately it HAS given me some trouble. The receiver in the fan went out and had to be replaced. Without the receiver, the WiFi drops and you can not control the fan with the app. It also beeps when the WiFi drops. Another issue was that it can not be hooked up to a 3-way switch. So I have to rely on the WiFi app. To make things easier I spent another $40 to purchase the remote control separately. The remote is nice and looks just like the wall switch. However, when the WiFi drops in the unit, the remote does not work either.After replacing the receiver inside the unit, the fan has been working MUCH better. We have it installed at the top of the stairs to help with the temperatures upstairs. The fan size is perfect. It’s powerful and mostly quiet, although sometimes it does make a ticking sound. The light is bright and can be dimmed. Overall I love the fan, but can’t give it 4 stars because of all the trouble I have gone through.

I like the cuteness of the fan. It moves a lot of air and it is very quiet. The price is a little high.The fan comes with a bluetooth remote control which communicates with the receiver inside the fan.One thing that one needs to know is to be sure if the existing wall switch is not a dimmer, remove it and install a regular single pole switch without a dimmer. The led lights at the fan does not work well with an incandescent dimmer switch, the light will be flickering. After installing a non-dimming switch, it works great! The instructions on the manual do not mention that at all.I installed the fan all by myself about two hours time total after getting the sequence of the parts to be installed right.The Modern Forms app is very easy to use and it synced with Alexa with no problems at all!

I’am very please with this fan . Im finding out that the high dollar fans are far easier to install than the $100 ceiling fans . Wind is great , the light is more than adequate. Im very pleased with the styling . Overall I’m very happy with this fan.To address the delay in functions I have not installed the wall switch yet due to renovations , so I cant speak to its operation ,but the app works fine . It only takes 3 sec. for app to find wifi or cloud signal . For me not a big deal. I often find it on when I get home which means my technology challenged girlfriend has no problem operating it.I have another DC fan it to does not come on instantly. My only regret is i didn't get the 38” model, I wish Modern Form sold the blades separately. I have more space than I thought and I believe it would increase the wind zone.. Overall great fan.

It is FANtastic! The install was intuitive and the app works pretty well. I think the app is my favorite part being able to control it remotely. I bought this for an office nook (converted master closet) that is 10'x5', this fan is the perfect size. Puts out tons of air and is super quiet (no complaints on zoom sessions). Also the light is plenty bright and it's warm tone is great (I hate the cool tone LEDs).Definitely recommend this unit for any space but especially smaller space where lighting is also important.
