I LOVE these shoes. I was so nervous when I saw reviews about the narrowness of them. I always considered my feet to be semi wide. When I received them the width was perfect! I wore a pair of socks with them around the house for a couple of days to stretch out the straps. I was also worried about the leather straps digging into the skin on my feet which tend to tear and blister like it's all they're good for. I can happily report that I have not gotten any blisters, I think this is due to wearing them with socks to cause some slack in the leather.Getting used to walking in them can be a challenge but you'll learn quickly. At first it feels like one wrong step will bring you tumbling to your death or a broken ankle. But your footing will become more secure after a short time. I'm speed walking down Broadway in these babies now.The one drawback is at the end of the day (8-11 hours) my heel and ball of my foot can be a little tender from walking on a surface with no give. Other than that, with the high quality of these shoes, they are HEFTY, I honestly believe that I can wear these for years and years to come. Plus, I get compliments every time I wear them.

LOVE at first sight online, and I am so glad that they lived up to the pedestal I put them on. I drooled over these for months before being able to finally buy them and they were worth the wait. The price on Amazon is amazing!!! They arrived super fast, and they fit perfectly. I was not sure about walking around on wood, but honestly it is way more comfortable than I thought. I ran around Costco, and did errands for two days wearing these without problems. There was a small area, on the side of one foot, that was rubbing the first day but sure enough by the second day the leather loosened and that is no longer happening. Give them a chance, they do ease up after wearing them just a little.They are so cute in pink, I am going to get the same Lacy design in the slightly higher heel for my longer pants. I'm a size 10, and 40 fit perfectly, Not too tight at all, my foot is not hanging off the back of the shoe and they are very easy to walk in (again I am used to shoes that give a little more, this is my first wooden shoe and I love 'em).**UPDATE** I have had them for over a week now, and love them even more. One tip, someone (somewhere) mentioned about wearing them around the house with wet socks to loosen them. Ummm....okay, not sure about that one!! Seems a little over the top for me, but I was occasionally having the "tightness" issue on one foot. I wet them under the sink, from the inside (right where the tightness was) and wore them out all day and they were SOOOOO comfy. They totally molded to my foot, no more issues at all. So try wetting them a little in the tight areas, maybe one or two times, before you wear them. Might work out better than being in the house with wet socks. :)

First of all, let me start by saying that I LOVE LOVE LOVE HASBEENS! These were my first pair, (I'm now up to four pairs LOL), and I have nothing but great things to say about this brand. I'm just getting around to writing reviews on a few things and wanted to be sure that I reviewed these first since they are one of my all time favorite Amazon purchases! :) <3 <3 <3.So comfortable and SO VERY CUTE! I wore these a couple times for a short amount of time to 'break them in' after oiling them with olive oil and letting them sit for a day or two to let the oil soak in. Worked like a charm. Highly recommend doing so to get a comfortable fit going. For reference, I had the tan color, so oiling did darken the leather a bit. (If you don't want to darken the color, try spot oiling areas of contact with a qtip on the inside of the shoe.) Once these have been worn a few times they really start to form to your foot. I wore these through NYC for a trip to visit my boyfriend who was doing a residency rotation on the UES for the weekend with zero issues. Wore them up at 5am on the train, on cobblestone streets, through Central Park, throughout touristy areas, to dinner, etc. Literally miles of walking. The only discomfort I had IF ANY was a small spot on the front of my ankle where the leather rubbed, and it was barely anything at all. That's pretty impressive if you ask me!Always get compliments when I wear any of my Hasbeens :)They are cut slightly narrow, so if you have a wider foot like I do, size up one size. I wear a solid 9 in a regular shoe, but always buy a 10us/40eur in these. If you have ever worn Birkenstocks or Dansko's, Id say the sizing is spot on with what you would purchase in those.Remember to give yourself some time to break them in and they'll fit you like a glove and be around for life!If you don't have a pair of Swedish Hasbeens yet, get yourself a pair ASAP!

As directed in another review I got two and returned one pair. I ordered the same size in different colors in case the fit was different. Both fit very well. And my feet are the worst. I have bunions on both feet, high arches, and skinny heels. Usually I run for my birkenstocks at every given chance because my feet won't abide other shoes. Not any more! My birks aren't going anywhere but these are my dressier option.I wear an 8 in flats and sandals and 8.5 in running shoes and boots. The size 39s are perfect. While breaking them in I wore thin dress socks with them a few times and that seemed to help. I'd say they took a week to break in.I get a ton of compliments on these. I can't walk in heels but these are wonderful for all day wear at the office. I have the nude color and they make my legs look longer like heels without the discomfort.The price can't be beat!

I love Swedish Hasbeens, so ordered this style in nature/ natural colour. I'm normally 51/2 to 6 in shoes, so I ordered a size 5 and a 6. Size 5 fit perfectly. The 6 was too roomy as I have quite narrow feet. I love them so much I ordered them in black. They are comfy & I get lots of compliments when wearing them.

Beautiful, fab price for hasbeens!! Quick delivery, what more can I say!! (wear them around the house with socks a few times to break them in!)
