We had a problem with damp in our kitchen, bathroom and living room. Although we'd treated the kitchen wall with anti-mould paint, the mould still grew back quickly and the room smelled of damp. We placed the 500g charcoal bag plus a 200g bag in the kitchen a month ago and happy to report we've had no recurrence of mould or damp smell. The other 200g bag plus a 75g bag were placed on either end of the shower rail in the bathroom and the remaining bags in the lounge. In all rooms, excessive moisture has been absorbed and musty damp smell gone. We also had a second hand sofa which had a tobacco smell and it's neutralised most of it. The products have no noticeable scent, yet the rooms smell much fresher. Recommended.

they just sit quietly in places around the house and seems to be working just fine. we had some yukky cooking smells lingering as they do this time of year and these seem to help enormously ..the smells have just about gone now .

havent noticed this having any effect at all on dust smells or damp. It is not possible to use a sack of charcoal incorrectly so I wouldnt advise buying this at all

These bags are very effective at removing smells, even mould smells. They can be used over and over by leaving in the sunshine. Recommended.

Neat packaging. Convenient cord for hanging in wardrobes etc and easily concealed elsewhere. Appears to be delivering as promised.

Don’t absorb smells or do anything at all

I got these to help with pet odour but don't think they have made any difference to the smell. If you do feel they help however you get quite a few bags of different sizes.
