These WHAL clippers have changed the dreaded monthly dog nail clipping into a quick, pinch free, sharp cutting, done in a fraction of the time, dog care event!!!Years ago we had clippers by Miller F… & they were awesome! I recently bought what looked like the same clippers, nice orange handle, etc, however they’re complete junk, they’re too small to fit on my 60# red bone coonhound’s nails. She’s not a huge dog but her nails are large enough that they didn’t really fit in the M F brand and the “nail guard” made the fit even worse. Each “cut” squeezed her nail before the blade would cut it - ouch!After going back to Amazon to look for clippers that might work, I found the WHAL clippers and read the reviews. When I saw these clippers did not have a nail guard, it’s just the clipping blades, I decided I’d give them a try - I’m so glad I did! The first time I used them on my dog, she was sleeping. I was able to cut 2 or 3 of her nails and she didn’t wake up! These blades sliced through her thick, all black nails without pinching or squeezing her nail as it was cutting!!!

These are really nice compared to our last one’s, I chose these because I’ve purchased from WHAL in the past and have been satisfied. Not every dog will just lay there and let you cut their toenails, but my dog Bo literally just laid there and let my husband use these. It only took a few minutes and these are sharp so they don’t split the nail like the ones we previously had. My dog Bo does have white nails so it’s easy to see the nail to make sure you’re not cutting the vain. If your dog has dark nails I’d use an led light so you can see the vain. I’ll update if anything changes and if we use on our cat I’ll update as well. I recommend these pet nail clippers. We have a happy dog now!

Great product could be a little smaller for an extra small dog but after you get the hang of it it works great

Another great product from Wahl! Purchased this primarily for clipping our dogs' dew claws. Everything about this clipper exceeded my expectations.- High quality construction and durable components. Love the safety lock feature to keep the clipper safe and secure!- Nicely sized (see photos), very similar in size to a hand held plant pruner. Not overly large and bulky as some pet nail clippers can be.- Easy to use! Comfortable in your hand with an ergonomic handle and a quick and clean nail clip.A terrific value, too. I highly recommend this product.

I don’t know if my frenchies just have super thick nails or what but these clippers just peel away their nail, doesn’t do a good clean cut. I also have to use a little force when clipping their nails.

These pet nail clippers were great value for the money. I’m not I’m sure they’re easy to use and they function well as far as the cut quality I don’t know because my dog would not sit still long enough for me to cut her nails so as to this day, they have not been used. Maybe I’ll try them today but they are not cheap looking or cheaply made great bye and easy to use if you can get your dog to sit still.

Sharp! They breezed through the nails be careful and be sure not to go too short.

I bought these when my last pair from TSC got dull. Wahl uses a higher grade of metal than most other manufacturers, giving them a longer life.
