Face Caddy, Hot and Cold Therapy Wraps (PINK) for TMJ, Migraines, Oral Surgery, Wisdom Teeth, Jaw Pain, Heat Packs, Cold Packs

After five jaw surgeries, the last of which was a total joint replacement of the left temporomandibular joint, I think I might be qualified to have an opinion about cold wraps. I love my Face Caddy! It stays on comfortably while still allowing me to sit at my desk, watch TV, or even take the dogs out for a quick break. I find it to be exceptionally comfortable and I don't have to have three pillows to support it so it's applied to just the right spot -- it does that automatically. My only complaint is that the packs don't stay cold very long. An old fashion ice pack will last me about four-hours, whereas the ice packs for the Caddy last about 20-30 minutes. I would imagine that is plenty of time for the average person with TMJ but I haven't been in the 'average' range for many years now. I go to sleep every night with ice packs on both sides of my face, just so I can open my mouth enough to floss in the morning. But ice packs don't allow for mobility and the Face Caddy does! So if you need to be mobile and still need your ice pack, I highly recommend the Face Caddy. I hope this helps someone to make an informed decision about the product. ~d

I purchased this for my family member. She had double jaw surgery with the installation of plates and screws. This product was phenomenal and worth every penny!!! So impressed. Durable and comfortable. I was able to use many different ice packs (some solid ones, too)—I just slipped them right in the pockets.

We purchased this item to assist in healing a tragus piercing. Turns out it works pretty well Heating the packs can be a little tricky, but once you learn the time needed, it's a sinch. Since the purchase, my husband had a horrible bout with TMJ from jaw clenching in his sleep and this did the trick. It's a little uncomfortable around the neck area if you attach it too tight. I could have used this a million times over back in the late 90s when I had a TMJ injury. For the price, you can't beat it!

The fabric is rough and not comfortable. And the Velcro did not stick after a few uses. Shop around there are better ones out there.

I purchased this ahead of scheduled dental surgery. Not having to hold ice packs on my face was convenient. Using this to treat my jaws with ice 20 mins on/20mins off would have been awful without this. I also used this for heat treatment the following days. I will use this for migraine headahes as well. I recommend picking up an extra set of cold/hot packs.

This was so nice when I had my wisdom teeth removed. One of them got dry socket, which isn't gross, just incredibly painful since your bare tooth socket is exposed, not covered by a scab or blood clot. Heat packs helped best with the pain, but constantly holding them up to my face was a pain. I felt like I looked kind of silly, but it was so nice to be able to relax and relieve the pain with the heat at the same time.

highly recommended! this was a life saver after my wisdom teeth removal. comfortable and help keep ice packs on the areas needed. was even able to use it while sleeping.

Works wonderful for mouth surgery, dental surgery or tmj. This is the second once I have ordered my daughter for tmj or the last 3 years. I plan on buying my husband one for dental surgery since my daughter's is pink.

Brilliant idea . I have jaw pain . It was excellent for this , being able to use your hands still . Only reason I'm not giving five stars is , the heat packs you get with it did not last long before they leaked . I did not notice at first because you have to dampen the wrap for moist heat for jaw pain . They are now in the bin and I have had to buy better ones . This has made the wrap very expensive ! But brilliant design .

I used it after double jaw surgery. The face caddy is convenient but I would not recommend using it immediately after jaw surgery, as the tightness and pressure of the caddy is very uncomfortable in the first couple of days after surgery because of swelling. I am now 2 weeks post op and it works for me now.

I suffer from TMJ and heat on the face does help you slightly deal with the pain. This works really well would recommend.

Perfect for after double jaw surgery! Snug, stayed in place, super comfortable. Comes with ice packs that freeze quickly but don't go hard so still malleable.
