Original 5 Star review: By far the best leash I've owned. I have a 70lb pitbull who loves to pull and the padding on the handle of this leash is a godsend. The whole leash is sturdy and durable. My only wish is that it were a tad longer, however that's not enough to knock off a star.Update 1/11/2017: This leash has unfortunately been torn. The constant pulling from my pit really strained and frayed the leash. The clip no longer wants to clip correctly either. It lasted awhile, just not nearly as long as I had hoped. It truly was such a comfortable leash to use! Durability, though, has me knocking it down 2 stars.

I ordered one of these for our resident dog and loved it so much I turned around and bought the red one for our series of foster dogs. Max is a 40 lb hound mix and walks on a harness and we've used the other with a 50 lb golden mix, a 60 lb rottie mix and a 65 lb GSD, all on normal collars and it's been plenty strong enough and a comfortable length for each of them. It's a well made leash for a great price, I'll probably be ordering more for the humane society we volunteer for :)

I have a 72-pound, energetic dog, tried quite a few different leashes and liked this one the best. It feels very soft, warm in your hands while it gives you a good, easy control with a loop and perfect length - probably better for medium and large dogs than small. What I like most about this leash is its lightness. When my dog walks well with me with no tension for the leash, I almost feel like holding no leash at all. I sometimes drop the leash off, preparing my dog to go off leash soon; I found the leash quite scratch, dirt resistant and very durable. I like its blue collar also matching his Sullivan command collar's color.

This leash is really soft, yet much sturdier than I expected. It is shorter than a typical leash (4' instead of 6'), but that works well for me since my dog walks at a heel - less to roll up and hang on to. My dog is with me quite a lot, and this leash is much gentler on my hands than a nylon, or even leather, leash.It does get dirty easily, but since it is machine washable, that's not a big deal. Maybe some darker colors would alleviate that?

Got for our new 8mo old pup. He is a good sized dog and previous owners did not do any walk training. This lease has been great. Helped teach close walking. Helped train to him from always barking at bunnies.... birds.... people.... dogs.... concrete lawn statues..... as well :) This lead really helps deal with dog pulling without it cutting into the hands like others. Used with a vest type harness.

Can be chewed through pretty easily (name a leash that can't!), but comfortable to hold and can be tied back together. We have about three knots in ours to put it back together and it's still working. Not perfect, but for the price I'll probably get another to replace this one eventually.

This leash is a great length for walking, and though it was not a selling point for me, I actually really like the material inside the handle of the leash. For some reason, it feels very luxurious. It seems to be extremely well-made, and I expected to hold up great for years to come.

Seriously the best! Great quality and design.I am so pleased I just ordered a second set as the good stuff so often disappears.I live with two 65 pound dogs full of energy.These leashes are the right length, the right width, and have great padded loops.
