Horrible product. I installed. Really flimsy thin wires by design in a plug in the back susceptible to damage. First rainfall and water penetrated the board from the hairline wall that is in between the keypad and the mounting plate. I should have put a thin layer of Silicone sealant. Water was everywhere on the board from the main housing. No water comign from the keypad at all. opened everything apart (uninstalled from the wall), checked the wire connections dried everything carefully and the unit is hosed - it will not unlock. Lights up fine. Power on off works. Codes work fine. programming works but it will not unlock the door. Exit button works just fine so it's not my magnet wiring. The unit is a piece of crap and over-priced. Do not buy anything Visionis. Contacted support by e-mail. No response. Went and bought another unit for half the price using the existing wiring.

Installed relatively easily, very sturdy and works as it should. I really like the way it lights up when it is active (it is only active during certain hours at my building). The metal buttons are much nicer to use than the laminated keypad we had before and I am not worried about the code getting worn in where it is visible.

Works as advertised very simple to install. If your tapping into florescent lights like me you'll also need the voltage drop down transformer. I would recommend an electrician do that part to avoid shock or fires. It's code where I live so had to but I would have anyway.
