Review: Great looking switch. - Great switch, easy to fit as long as you have the correct wiring and a deep enough back box. I already had the smart life app, connecting to that was the easiest of all my smart devices, the app picked up the switch as soon as it was powered.
Review: Good product - Easy product to install, you’ll need a neutral wire which is fairly easy to route if it’s not in the existing switch wiring already, a deep switch back box (42mm) else you’ll not get the BSEED screwed down flush with the back box. Pairing was easy although the instructions are a tad harder to follow, wire it up, slipped the glass front onto the front of the circuit board and then press the switches until they flash purple. If you use the Tuya app auto scan, it finds the switch and does the rest, works with Alexa although the TUYA API update seems to have messed up anything you do with Alexa routines, the rest of the Alexa functionality works as expected.

**Q: Immersion will this run an immersion heater**
A: This is not intended to use for heavy load like immersion heater

**Q: Can these be used on led lights. i’ve seen other touch switches which cannot. thanks**
A: Since it acts exactly the same as a mechanical switch, yes. I have these installed in my home where all of my lights are LEDs with no issues.

**Q: The smart life app is telling me many times per day that the switch is offline? maybe bseed could answer**
A: This depends on the Wi-Fi signal if your switch is away from router then weak signals can cause this problem

Easy product to install, you’ll need a neutral wire which is fairly easy to route if it’s not in the existing switch wiring already, a deep switch back box (42mm) else you’ll not get the BSEED screwed down flush with the back box. Pairing was easy although the instructions are a tad harder to follow, wire it up, slipped the glass front onto the front of the circuit board and then press the switches until they flash purple. If you use the Tuya app auto scan, it finds the switch and does the rest, works with Alexa although the TUYA API update seems to have messed up anything you do with Alexa routines, the rest of the Alexa functionality works as expected.

This is a decent smart switch and generally works well. I bought it for out in my garage where I have another make which controls the garden lights. It occasionally drops connection whereas the other doesn't so I presume the receiver isn't as sensitive BUT given its position, about 12 metres from the wifi signal and through a wall, it does not bad. If you installed this in the house I very much doubt there would be an issue. The indicator lights could be brighter when the lights are not switched on and there isn't a wifi signal indicator. I'd have liked a power indication in the app as you get with some of the sockets you buy but that's a nice to have that I'm sure will come later. If you want a simple switch for inside the house this works well it's easy to set up and is decent value.
