Wonderful! My favorite.
The cookie is very unique. It is very rich and pastry flaky. The taste is somewhere between a shortbread cookie and a cracker. It is very lightly sweet. Perfect accompaniment to tea or coffee.The only downside is I hate the packaging. Very environmentally unfriendly. They need to come up with something else. Each cookie is encased in it's own little non recyclable wrapper. This is to protect them because they are very fragile and can not be shipped with the cookies just loose in the box.However, I have written to the company about this. They were nice enough to respond and are aware. I think they could protect them by using corrugated cardboard buffers creating rows of cookies. Easier to get to too. The packets do not tear open easily, You have to work for your treat. And they are a treat.I don't dare buy them too often. I always eat them much faster than planned!

A Favorite Taiwanese cookie not widely available in stores
These are small 'cookie' biscuits which are made with ''salted egg yolk'' according to the company. They have a hint of sweetness too. They fall somewhere on the spectrum between a cracker and a cookie, closer to cookie. Especially good with tea. The only negatives are small size (28 gm) and calorie count which is 50. So tasty, it's impossible to eat just one; 4 is more like it! Very pleased to find this on Amazon.

Not stale at all as other reviewers' comment. The expiration date is till another 7 months. Each piece of cookie are intact, not crumble. There's the salted egg yolk taste on the cookies at the same time buttery. Not overpowering saltiness of salted egg yolk taste, it is just right for snack.
