Wizards, Dragons, Unicorns and Fantasy Creatures Iron-On Transfers (Dover Iron-On Transfer Patterns) Paperback – December 3, 2003

I was very disappointed in the pictures in the book. I wasn't sure what to expect since there aren't any photos besides the cover. The art is decent, but not at all what I wanted. There are many old wizards with the long beard. The hippogriffs look like they have furry teddy bear ears. Some of their feature look very real, but throw in teddy bear ears and cartoony huge beaks and they look very strange. Then there is the kitten with a unicorn horn...what on earth??? There is one owl, and the wings don't look like they belong to the same bird. Lastly, the butterfly horse with the thumbtack tail and the proboscis didn't fit, or make sense to me. I won't be using any of these patterns. Which is really sad because I really wanted to. I won't return it because $7 isn't worth that hassle, but I would for $10.

The iron-ons in this book are well drawn but I was disappointed to find out they are not in color as the cover of the book depicted them. This is the 3rd book of iron-on transfers I have bought but this is the first that are uncolored. It would have been nice to know this prior to purchasing I would have likely not gotten the item as that was not what I was looking for.

This would work for painting or maybe embroidery but there is too much detail for ribbon embroidery which I am interested in doing right now.

The book provided great designs for a simple "scan and print" to place on clothing or whatever else I wanted to paint on. The pages in the book are still untouched and unused.

I found exactly what I was looking for, and it worked out just as I had hoped. Very nice. The patterns were great, and I found the whole book was more than I expected.

This was unque and different but my children loved the different types of fantasy in it and it worked well for all our craft projects.

The transfers are good, I wanted to have pics that are not childish looking, these come close, I just wish they were more detailed.
