Love the design the rest (healthier materials and a sturdy ...
First of all I will admit that this appliance got me because of it's over all appearance, however, once you get to working with it you realize that there are quite a few issues with the Jamba Citrus juicer. First of all it does not accommodate large oranges, grapefruit, and pomegranates. Another thing which should be of concern to everyone is the metals that this food processor is made of. I can clearly see that the funnel is some kind of plastic, the strainer is stainless steel, however, the top cap is suspect. I believe it is made of aluminum which scientist have determined to be a contributor to Alzheimer's. They say that the metal doesn't come into contact with the inner portion of the fruit, however, invariably, as I have experienced, the fruit 'skin' will rupture when pressing down to extract the liquid. And consider this, when the top aluminum cap presses down on the skin the liquid is flowing all around taking bits of aluminum into your cup of what you hope would be a healthy drink. I only had this item since Oct of this year and already I am witnessing a break down. Now I see why Jamba offers a warranty. Frankly, I would rather return this item (for something better) than to keep having to return it for servicing. What's wrong with it? The gears seem to be off kilter, I am leery and afraid to put too much pressure on the arm for fear that it will come apart. Love the design the rest (healthier materials and a sturdy structure that can withstand pressure) needs fixing. This was not an inexpensive item, Jamba should have done better.

Good manual juicer
Great manual juicer. Like many have said it's tall and hard to find a place to store it in the kitchen. Also within the first couple of uses one of the rubber feet fell off. We need to contact customer service to see if they can provide a replacement. That was one of the reasons we purchased this model since there were replacement parts available and it has a 5 year warrany.Update: After about 1 month using the juicer frequently the threads on the cast metal head stripped. I need to contact customer service and see if they will replace it under warranty. After reviewing a number of web sites it looks like the piece that was damaged has a number of different designs, the one on their website shows a machined metal insert into the cast metal piece. I can only assume they had issues with the cast metal design and redsigned it with the machined steel insert? Pictures of both are attached.

margarita heaven
Awesome, simply awesome. My wife has become addicted, one per night, of my margaritas. I had one of those little yellow plastic juicers, and 6 limes, three lemons, four blood oranges and two ruby red grapefruits took me about 45 minutes, and a fair amount of sweat, to produce 32 ounces of juice.Recipe hint, add to previous 12 OZ water, sugar to taste. 32 ounces of blender liquefied seedless watermelon, 10-12 oz good silver tequila, 10 -12 ounces Cointreau (expensive, but there is no substitute) serve in a 16 OZ mason jar, salted rim optional, 2/3 full of crushed ice, blood orange wedge or lime wedge as a garnish. The feel of this appliance, you just know it is never going to break. It is tall, it is heavy, it does not fit under cabinets. All true and who cares. My only desire for change would be - since it is already so tall, make it two three inches taller so a larger vessel could fit under the drip spout.I like fresh squeezed OJ, but this baby has cocktail as its forte.

I love my new Jamba juicer!
My husband and I drink a lot of homemade lemonade made with lemons, water, and stevia. I used to spend 15 minutes hand juicing 8 lemons and I thought I was going to twist my arm off. With Jamba, my juice is finished in less than 5 minutes with very little effort. I discovered if I try to press too hard my juice tastes a little bitter because I was actually juicing the rind. So now I let the weight of the machine do most of the work and each lemon seems to be juiced completely. Clean up is very fast, only 4 parts. I love my new Jamba juicer!

Good except plastic parts
Like everything except the plastic bottom piece where the juice runs out and the piece just under the stainless dome. Really should be stainless in my opinion. I squeeze lemons and in time these will undoubtedly become marred.

Finally! A citrus juicer that works great without the mess.
I’ve purchased many citrus juicers over the years, both manual & electric, and this one triumphs over all of them. It’s easy to use, gets every ounce of juice without breaking my arm or making a mess, and it’s so EASY TO CLEAN! I’ve finally purchased my last juicer, because there’s no topping this one. You won’t be disappointed.

AMAZING... Going on 5 years now with this Juicer!
My wife has used this juicer EVERY DAY for FIVE YEARS without any problems at all. She juices about 5 to 10 lemons. You will not regret getting this. She is tiny, has very small hand and arms but gets amazing force with this juicer... BIG SMILES all around!

3.
3.5 stars works well but if your fruit is not placed near the center the top catches on the side of the black cup
