Really easy to set up via WiFi on iPad
I chose this camera as the Amazon reviews said the instructions were ok and it was easy to set up. Just before it was delivered Amazon emailed me with a message from the seller giving links to the instructions and a YouTube set up video. I didn’t need these as the instruction booklet provided in the box was plenty good enough. It took literally 1-2 minutes to connect to the camera via WiFi using the iPad app. No need to plug the supplied network cable into my router.Everything you need to install the camera is in the box, including screws, rawl plugs, screwdriver and Allen key. The only thing you need is a drill to drill holes for the mounting screws. Adjustment of the camera is easy using the 3 joints which are locked in place with Allen screws. Really, really easy. The most difficult part of the installation is tidying up the routing of the power cable. This is about 3m long and is fitted with a UK 3 pin plug. There are 3 short cables coming out of the camera: network (not needed if you connect via WiFi), power connector (the 3m power cable plugs in to this); and reset button. I’m not sure how weather proof these are, they’re supposed to be weather proof but as insurance and to tidy up the installation, I put these in a junction box. Since the cables to these connectors are only about 200mm long, you either need to get inventive or buy a junction box if you want a neat and tidy installation. The iPad/ iPhone app works ok, it’s fairly intuitive and you’ve got the instruction book to help. The motion detector works and it took no time at all get the camera to save video clips to the supplied (and installed) SD card whenever the motion detector triggers. Viewing these clips on my iPad is easy without having to take the SD card out.I’ve deliberately not set up email alerts and phone notifications as I think that would drive me nuts. Also I’ve not bothered trying to back up the videos to my iPad or a remote server.Picture quality is plenty clear enough to see faces although I did note that the default recording mode was SD not HD, but that’s a flick of a slider in the app to change that.Overall I’m really happy with the camera. I had it up and running, fixed to the house and the power cable installed in about an hour and a half. I measured the power consumption at 2.3W so at today’s electricity prices it will cost £3.43 per year to run and will generate 7kg of CO2 emissions per year.

audio is not bad, we can use it to talk
The product was tightly packed within a little box. We managed to figure out all the settings we wanted on our phones. We placed it to point on our front porch. However our wifi is slow sometimes. it just keeps losing network with the camera. We currently keep it wired connecting to router and are asking for help from network provider. Camera gives clear pictures both day and night and saves the full 24 hours of video, audio is not bad, we can use it to talk, it is great for basic security purposes. If the wifi connection works, I’ll update my review.

Works well with the CamHi App from Playstore.
The camera itself seems to function well, although I've only tried it in a temporary location. The instructions are very poor. Do not use the IpPro App on the Luowice website - this does not work with either of my android devices. Instead, download the CamHi App referred to in the paper manual - this seems to work well, although the pages of the app bear little resemblance to the manual!Although not clear from the literature, you can play & download footage directly from the camera (acts as it's own wi-fi hotspot) without needing a internet wi-fi network on site.

Motion detection
Motion detection just goes of all the time even if you adjust it to it lowest level and I even adjust area covered which made no difference and the alerts would come for the first couple of times when you set it up new but then just stop, so was disappointed with this part and this was one of the main reasons for using this camera so I have returned.

I have was extremely pleased with the setup. The step by step instructions was intuitive and simple.app has limited functionality, but works fine. I have kicked up the camera to its highest resolution setting and set it up via wireless connection. I have no complaints other than it seems it eats up a lot of your wifi. Other than this issue the camera is good and picture is outstanding

Very wide angle
The picture from this camera is good quality and very wide angle so maybe better for use in confined space and shorter range. Night vision is good. The motion detection is very sensitive even when set to low. If used outdoors the motion detection is triggered frequently by rain, insects etc so would probably be better used under cover or indoors.

Great camera
I purchased this camera not long ago. It works as described and performs really good. The camera shows a very wide area and the picture is clear enough. I use the camera in front of my house and can see the car number plates and the people walking by. It has very consistent connection and I can view live on my phone and backup the videos onto my phone without any problem. The CamHi app is very easy to navigate and the setup through the app is a piece of cake. But the camera is too sensitive to motion detection so I have disabled the alarm in CamHi and have the camera recording 24/7. Customer service is excellent, they replied to my email quickly and helped me access the web-interface of my camera. All in all it’s a good camera for this price.

Very disappointed
Whilst the picture quality is pretty good, the motion detection (the one thing I purchased this model for!) Is nowhere near the 100ft range advertised for the 1080p version I ordered (either that or they've sold me the 960p instead, as that's advertised at 50ft). This model's range is closer to 40ft and the sensitivity is totally crazy over the top - even on low - and this means I'm having to watch loads of footage to spot anything happening as I'm not getting sensible motion triggers I expected. There is also no option to decide a time range in which to record. All in all very disappointed in it's limited function.
