I understand a majority of the merchandise is made in China, but the hope is that proper specs and quality control are adhered to. Also, the expectation is that the packaging/instructions are in English. The description says "food-grade safety: Made of #304 stainless steel, BPA-Free,100% non-toxic". While I cannot dispute this claim, the packaging (no instructions) was in standard Mandarin. The exterior of the molds had pits/blemishes all over them, unlike any "food grade" stainless steel that I've purchased in the past. Each mold lid has a round silicone insert where the wooden stick is inserted. First off, the lids do not snap into place or fit snuggly and secondly, the silicone insert on one of the lids popped out every time I gently inserted a wooden stick. It became apparent that the hole that the silicone insert pressed into was out of tolerance. I cannot recommend this product and it appears that the manufacturer is Chinese.
