Finger ring user
I use a Moto G7 Power phone and I have a finger ring on the back to help me hold the phone. I read every one of the 280+ reviews looking for some clue as to whether or not this would hinder the use of the cup holder. Didn't find any help there . There were a couple of references to pop-sockets, but nothing about a finger ring. So I ordered anyway. It just looked like too good of a deal to pass up. Well, it arrived, I installed it (and it's absolutely PERFECT!!!!) and it DOES allow my phone to sit securely in the gripping arms with the finger ring on the back. I have to say it's a little snug, but it DOES fit and there's no fear that it'll fall out. I also have to add that there are two little "legs" that will extend on the bottom of the holder to act as little shelves to support the phone so it doesn't slide out of the holder and fall to the floor. Be sure to flip them "forward" so they can be used. There are no instructions about that (in fact, instructions are scarce so take all the hints you can from others.) but the picture indicated there should be something so I checked it out and found them there, waiting to be flipped out for use. I'm terribly impressed with this device. It's super secure in the cup holder after adjusting the bottom snugly and there's no threat of it tipping over. My phone is fairly heavy and I do have a case on it so it's a pretty good test of the security. I can't say enough good things about this item. I don't text and drive but I do find it convenient to be able to glance and see who the text or message is from and since my car is 2002, it isn't equipped with bluetooth so talking on the phone means I don't have to hold it in my hand while driving. It sits nicely in its own little "seat". Also, using the GPS is much more inviting. Good product----thanks for giving us the chance to get one!!!

Solid phone holder - Excellent Customer Service
I ordered this phone holder after having to send back a similar type because the phone holder (different seller and style) would not "fit/slide" into the main stand. This holder had the same problem, so I emailed the seller about it right after I received it, and they responded within minutes. They issued a refund right away, and relayed they were sending me a new one. They wanted to know what was not working so that they could get with their manufacturer. That was two days ago, and the new one was just delivered. This is excellent customer service. Other reviewers have noted the excellent customer service as well. This leads me to believe that if I have an issue with it in the future, the seller won't hesitate to make it right with me.The parts slide together firmly with this replacement holder. As you can see from one of my photos, you set a part of the "nut" into the phone holder, then slide it to lock it in place. This phone holder is solid, holds the phone rigidly, and fits into my Honda Fit side cup holder well. I tried knocking it, in different ways, and the phone would not dislodged. The neck is flexible, yet solid. I don't anticipate any drooping of the neck. The clips hold in the phone well. I like that the bottom clips extend out from the phone, so I would expect that this holder would fit a thick phone case well. I have a Moto 5G plus with case, as seen in the photos.I am writing this right after receiving the replacement. I will update later if I run into any issues with it, but for now, it appears to be a very solid holder. FYI, I didn't get the "extra" perk of a vent holder, as some reviewers noted.

Don’t waste your money!
I’ve used this for all of 4 months and it’s absolutely disgusting to see it completely falling apart and totally useless. Of course it’s past the end of January so Amazon has washed their hands on it and I have nothing else to do with it but throw it in the trash where it belongs. If I bought this from Walmart or just about anywhere else and it fell apart in 4 months, I believe they would admit they sold a piece of garbage and make it right, but not so with Amazon or the company that makes this worthless piece of plastic. For all of you people who lie in your reviews, and who can even guess why you do it, shame on you for doing it.

The in-cup-holder mount for my iPhone 6S is in it's place
For years I've wanted something like this, and now I have it. I can plug my inline connection and power charger into it and keep it close. It won't be sliding off my console anymore! It's pretty slick, when you see it can release the holding clamp edges with a button, and it's adjustable pole piece, is very sturdy, and flexible too. Installed as suggested by seller, the item is secured in my 2009 auto, without splitting open the plastic cup holder. (It has partially open circular areas for cup holders, and is different than some holders.) I also found from email to seller, that the extra item in my box, was for vent clip for a cell phone, which they included for free. If you email them once they write you, they will change your warranty to 5 years on the purchased holder. Seller was easy and nice with whom I corresponded.

Works nice with minor improvement
This works out well but it needs to have wireless charging. I had an old phone holder with wireless charging but couldn't hold a suction because of the cup holder design in my car (not flat). However, I was able to replace the holder section of this one (keeping the base) with the wireless charger. So, it seems that there is a standard for the adjustment connectors

Awesome Value
You twist the base to expand it to fit different size cup holders. Worked perfectly!
