One of the lowest powered SFP+ Copper modules out there
Works well in my Mikrotik switches. I specifically bought this brand/model because it is one of the lowest powered SFP+ Copper modules. Why does this matter? Because I’m using it in a passively cooled Mikrotik switch. I get the full 10 Gbps speeds from this doing network tests.

Works well
Easy to install and use. It does run a little hot, but I keep the switch well-ventilated so I haven't had a problem.

Perfect Addition for Fiber (FttP/FttH) Install
Product Review:Once the option for fiber ISP hit our curb, we were on it! This was a great price deal for connecting the CAT6A from the fiber ISPs ONT to our Unifi UDM Pro. It was recognized quickly, and the module performs at expected speed (1000 Mbps symmetric) with peak test at 998/999 and avg test at 986/994.Side Note - fiber ISP installer PSA:TL;DR - Install module BEFORE fiber ISP technician arrives and put post-it note on where they are to attach the cable. No issues with the module, per se, other than the silly technician not realizing that the connection port on the router was not an RJ45 port and immediately sliding the RJ45 head into the SFP+ port as he was running it from the ONT fiber converter! I was able to stop him from pushing it further into the router/gateway and luckily able carefully extract it using some micro flatheads to compress the clip so that it would slide out. Silly me for not inserting the module before he arrived.I briefed the young tech on what RJ45, SFP, SFP+ and SFP++ were, what they looked like and the other types of fiber connections (SMF,MMF,MPO,APC,etc) and what to look for so that he doesn't attempt to destroy another homeowner's network equipment by getting an RJ45 connector stuck deep in a SFP port.

Lock Mechanism malfunction will damage SPF port. Wiitek will just blame it on customer.
I usually don't write reviews but this item made me write one because I don't want anybody else to get screwed by Wiitek and horrible ignorant customer service. This module is cheaply made! The release lock can malfunction in lock position even if it looks unlock, and Damage your SPF port when module is being removed. Wiitek will not stand behind it and will stop replaying to your emails. They will try to pass the blame on you and make you think that you don't know how to use a simple released lock that is widely used on every single SPF module that you can buy.Stay AWAY from this module. They will not own up to the fact that lock can simply malfunction and cause damage to the port. This module ruined my UDMP and they wont own up to it!!!! Cheap Junk!Read one start review over all that are all pointing to horrible customer service and actually not so good product.

Worked to ensure highest speed input to my network.
I got this for my ubiquiti Dream Machine. It allowed the fastest connection possible and was a simple plug and play solution. Used every day for over a year and no issues with it. Recommended considering the price! Other options would have required me to change my configuration and or buy $1000's of new equipment. It plugs into the device perfectly, and doesn't have any issues.

Gets hot and throttles the speed
Work fine when it is cool, once it starts to get hot starts throttling

20c cooler than the equivalent Mikrotik SFP+
These run at about 60c in my two Mikrotik switches, a little more than 20c cooler than the Mikrotik SFP+ they replaced. So far they've been stable. Definitely worth the money.
